Uutela
Uutela is a nature park in Vuosaari, Helsinki, Finland. It is situated by the sea, and attracts visitors from all over the Helsinki capital area. You can get there by taking the subway to Vuosaari and then either walk or take the busline 90K. Uutela has a small idyllic harbor where regular people keep their boats and enjoy their day in the small coffee shop "Kaunis Kampela" which offers traditional pancakes and salmon soup.

Vuosaari is a neighbourhood in the City of Helsinki, Finland. It is located by the sea in East Helsinki, and with its area of 15.38 km² is geographically the largest district in the city. It also has two Helsinki Metro stations, Rastila and Vuosaari Vuosaari is one of the fastest-growing areas in Helsinki. The number of inhabitants has been increasing rapidly since early 1990s, and continues to grow as new residential areas are being built.
Mellunmäki metro station
Mellunmäki or Mellungsbacka is a ground-level bridge station on the northern branch of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Mellunmäki in East Helsinki, and is the terminus of the northern branch. The station was opened on 1 September 1989, designed by the architect bureau Toivo Karhunen Oy. It is located 1.6 kilometres from the Kontula metro station. The terminus at the other end, Ruoholahti metro station, is 17 kilometres away.
Puotila metro station
Puotila or Botby gård is a ground-level 'cut-and-cover' station on the eastern branch of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the districts of Puotila and Puotinharju in East Helsinki. The station was opened on 31 August 1998, making it one of the newest stations in the Helsinki Metro. It was designed by the architect bureau Kaupunkisuunnittelu Oy Jarmo Maunula. It is located 1.0 kilometres from the Itäkeskus metro station, and 2.0 kilometres from the Rastila metro station.
Rastila metro station
Rastila or Rastböle is a ground-level station on the eastern branch of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the residential areas of Meri-Rastila and Rastila in the district of Vuosaari, in East Helsinki. The station was opened on 31 August 1998, making it one of the newest stations in the Helsinki Metro. It was designed by Irmeli Grundström and Juhani Vainio. The station is located 2.0 kilometres from the Puotila metro station, and 1.2 kilometres from the Vuosaari metro station.

Vuosaari or Nordsjö is a ground-level station on the southern branch of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Vuosaari in East Helsinki, and is the terminus of the branch. The station was opened on 31 August 1998, making it one of the newest stations on the Helsinki Metro. It was designed by the architect bureau Esa Piironen Oy. It is located 1.2 kilometres from the Rastila metro station. The terminus at the other end, Ruoholahti metro station, is 16 kilometres away.
Porvarinlahti
Porvarinlahti is a bay in Helsinki (before 1 January 2009 in Vantaa), Finland, near the borders of Vantaa and Sipoo. Porvarinlahti used to be the only place where Vantaa directly bordered the Baltic Sea. The bay is approximately 2 km long and 50 m wide. Immediately to the south of the bay lies Helsinki and immediately to the north lies Sipoo.
Itäkeskus
Itäkeskus is a quarter in the neighbourhood of Vartiokylä (as of 1980s) in the eastern part of Helsinki. The district's main attraction is the largest covered-in shopping mall in the Nordic countries, Itis. The district has a station on the Helsinki Metro. The Itäkeskus swimming hall was built in 1993.
Savio Rail Tunnel
The Savio Rail Tunnel near to the capital city of Helsinki, Finland connects the Vuosaari Harbour with the Helsinki–Tampere main line in Kerava. The tunnel is single track, electrified and 13.5 kilometres long. Construction begun in 2004, and the tunnel opened in November 2008. The tunnel is part of a new 19-kilometre line linking a new port.

Cirrus is a high-rise cooperative apartment building in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Cirrus is the tallest building in Finland with a height of 86 meters (282 feet). The building, which is located in Vuosaari in East Helsinki, has 28 floors (including two underground ones) and 140 apartments. Vuosaari Harbour (Vuosaaren satama in Finnish; Nordsjö hamn in Swedish) is a seaport facility in Helsinki, Finland, opened in November 2008. The harbour, located in the suburb of Vuosaari in East Helsinki, handles goods traffic for the Greater Helsinki region, while passenger services remain in Helsinki city centre.
Vartiokylä
Vartiokylä is a neighbourhood in eastern Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Its name is derived from the ruins of an eleventh century fortress on the Linnanvuori hill in Vartioharju, one of Vartiokylä's subdivisions. The working population of Helsinki started building their houses in the area after the completion of Uusi Porvoontie, a road to the downtown, in the 1930s. Nowadays the area has a few high density apartment areas as well as houses. Vartiokylä became a part of Helsinki in 1946.

Mellunmäki
Mellunmäki has been a quarter of eastern Helsinki, Finland since 1946. Serious construction of the area began in 1950 and it was originally designed for 7000 inhabitants. There are over 8500 inhabitants in the area today (April 2005). Apart from the grocery stores Mellunmäki does not offer many services. Most people visit Kontula or Itäkeskus for services not offered by their home district. The metro station of Mellunmäki, the last stop on the line, is the world's northernmost metro station.
Helsingin yhteislyseo
Helsingin yhteislyseo (HYL) is a school in Kontula, Helsinki Finland consisting of a lower secondary school and an upper secondary school with over 50 teachers and 700 students in total. The school was founded in 1908 and it is privately maintained by Maanviljelyslyseo (Agricultural Lyceum). The school celebrated its 100th birthday in 2008. Helsingin yhteislyseo and Lapinlahden yhteislyseo relocated to a new building and to its present location on the Rintinpolku street in Kontula in 1971.
