Pähkinärinne (Hasselbacken in Swedish) is a suburb in Western Vantaa, in Finland. It lies roughly between a pond named Lammaslampi and Vihdintie, former Helsinki-Pori main road. There are basic services, for example, a comprehensive school for students from 1st to 6th forms, in Pähkinärinne.

Mankkaa
Mankkaa or Mankans is a suburb of Espoo, located between Tapiola and Kauniainen, with a population of 7,704 (2006), of which 704 speak Swedish as a first language (2005). Most of Mankkaa falls under the postal code 02180, with 02630 being the code of the areas situated near the Helsinki-Turku freeway in the north. The main thoroughfare in Mankkaa is Mankkaantie, which had been heavily congested with traffic during rush hours until Ring II was completed in 2000.

In August 2008, EVTEK University of Applied Sciences together with Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia merged into Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Sello is a shopping mall in the Leppävaara district of Espoo, Finland. The mall contains more than 170 shops and services including a concert hall and a library. The Sello is separated into three parts: the oldest part (finished in 2002), the second part (finished in 2005) and the newest part (finished in 2008). The oldest part of Sello has two supermarkets, three banks, contains Espoo City's main library, a concert hall, gym, restaurants and cafes, pharmacy, an Alko and a music academy.

Ring II
Ring II (pronounced "ring two", Finnish: Kehä II, Swedish: Ring II) in the region of Espoo is one of the major highways in Finland, . The road runs north-south, connecting Turuntie in the north, to Länsiväylä in the south. Despite its name suggesting a circle, it has not been built as a true beltway yet, unlike the parallel Ring I and Ring III highways.
Sello mall shooting
The Sello mall shooting occurred on the morning of 31 December 2009 shortly after 10:08 local time at the Sello Prisma supermarket in Leppävaara district of Espoo, Finland. The shooting was believed to have been started after Ibrahim Shkupolli, the alleged gunman, found that his ex-girlfriend had a lover at the grocery store where she worked. Shkupolli first killed her in her apartment before heading towards the mall.
