Pasila railway station
Pasila railway station is a railway station in Helsinki, Finland, approximately 3.5 kilometres north of Helsinki Central railway station. It is the second busiest railway station in Finland, after Helsinki Central, and takes up a large part of the district of Pasila. The station was first opened in 1862. Pasila station is used to ease the congestion on the city's central station by serving as an alternate point of departure or arrival within Helsinki.

Linnanmäki
Linnanmäki (Swedish: Borgbacken, colloquially Lintsi, literal translation Castle Hill) is an amusement park in Helsinki, Finland. It was opened on May 27, 1950 and is owned by non-profit Lasten Päivän Säätiö (Children's Day Foundation). Linnanmäki has 43 different rides of different sizes. It also has other attractions, such as arcades, games, kiosks, restaurants and an outdoor stage on which different performers appear in the summer. In 2006, the park welcomed its 50th million visitor.

Alppila is a quarter of Helsinki, Finland. It is located north of the city centre, between the districts of Kallio and Pasila, and together with Harju it forms the district of Alppiharju. Alppila has a population of 4244 (as of 2005) and an area of 0.60 km². The Linnanmäki amusement park is located in Alppila.

Helsinki Motor Show (HMS) is an annual national car show in Helsinki, Finland. It is organized around November to December and it has been held in the Helsinki Fair Center. It is the only annual motor show in the Nordic countries. In the beginning, HMS was a show based on motor sports but gradually more and more upcoming cars have been shown there. Most of the Finnish car importers are present. The event is organized by Team Nykopp Ltd. The show has attracted around 50,000 visitors each year.

Vuoristorata is a roller coaster in the Finnish amusement park Linnanmäki. It opened on July 13, 1951 and was designed as a temporary attraction for the Linnanmäki park, opened in 1950. One of the main reasons for its construction was to attract tourists of the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Since then, its temporary status was renewed for extended periods, until eventually it was regarded as a permanent structure.

Helsinki Velodrome
The Helsinki Velodrome is an outdoor velodrome and football stadium in Helsinki, Finland. It was built in 1938–1940 for the 1940 Summer Olympics which were cancelled due to World War II. After the war, it was a venue of the 1952 Summer Olympics for the track cycling and field hockey events. The protected functionalist concrete building was designed by Hilding Ekelund. The track is 400 meters in length and is used for most national events. American football and lacrosse is played on the infield.
