Mäntyniemi
Mäntyniemi is one of the three official residences of the President of Finland besides the Presidential Palace and Kultaranta. Mäntyniemi was finished in 1993. Four Finnish presidents have lived there: Mauno Koivisto, Martti Ahtisaari, Tarja Halonen, and the incumbent Sauli Niinistö. When president Urho Kekkonen resigned in 1981 due to a serious illness, he stayed in the then official residence Tamminiemi until his death in 1986.
Helsinki University Central Hospital
Helsinki University Central Hospital (HUCH; in Finnish, Helsingin seudun yliopistollinen keskussairaala or HYKS; in Swedish, Helsingfors universitets centralsjukhus) is the largest university hospital in Finland. It encompasses 17 hospitals in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, and has all major medical specialties represented. The HUCH Hospital Area is one of the five hospital areas making up the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS).
Meilahti
Meilahti is a neighbourhood of Helsinki between Mannerheimintie (the main entrance road to Helsinki) and a bay named Seurasaarenselkä. Most of the houses in Meilahti were built in the 1930s and 1940s. Meilahti is home to over 6700 people, including Sauli Niinistö, the President of Finland, who lives in Mäntyniemi, the President's official residence. Jyrki Katainen, the Prime Minister of Finland, also has an official residence in Meilahti, namely Kesäranta.

Tamminiemi
Tamminiemi (Villa Ekudden in Swedish), is a villa located in the Meilahti district of Helsinki. It was one of the official residences of the President of Finland from 1940 until 1981. From that date, until his death, it served as the residence of President Urho Kekkonen. It is now the Urho Kekkonen Museum. It is located in a park by the sea. Tamminiemi's floor area is about 450 square metres.

Huopalahti railway station
Huopalahti railway station is a railway station on the VR commuter rail network located in northern Helsinki, Finland. It is located about 6 kilometres to the north/northwest of Helsinki Central railway station. Huopalahti station is now situated in the district of Etelä-Haaga, but it was named for the municipality of Huopalahti, which was annexed to the city of Helsinki in 1946.
Laakso
Laakso is a neighbourhood in Helsinki, Finland. Its borders are defined by the streets of Mannerheimintie and Nordenskiöldinkatu and the Helsinki Central Park. The neighbourhood is bordered by Töölö in the south, Meilahti in the southwest, Ruskeasuo in the north and Länsi-Pasila in the east. The neighbourhood has an area of 0.74 km², a population of 1781 and 1583 jobs (December 31, 2003).

Pohjois-Haaga railway station
Pohjois-Haaga railway station is a railway station on the Helsinki commuter rail network located in northern Helsinki, Finland. It is located about eight kilometres to the north/northwest of Helsinki Central railway station. The Pohjois-Haaga station is located in the district of Lassila, between the stations of Huopalahti and Kannelmäki. It is the first station after the split between the Vantaankoski track and the rantarata track towards Turku.

The Meilahti Campus is a campus area of the University of Helsinki in Finland. It houses the Faculty of Medicine and many medical research institutions. Several hospitals are also concentrated in the area.
Ruskeasuo
Ruskeasuo (Brunakärr in Swedish, verbatim "Brown swamp") is a neighbourhood of Helsinki (Helsingfors in Swedish), about 3 kilometres north of the city center. With a population of 2670 (year 2005) Ruskeasuo is a rather quiet residential area. Buildings by Mannerheimintie are typically 6-8 floors high from 1950s. Between Mannerheimintie and Central Park, low-rise buildings are dominant. The equestrian dressage and eventing competitions for the 1952 Summer Olympics took place at their sports hall.
Central Park (Helsinki)
Central Park (Helsingin keskuspuisto in Finnish, Helsingfors centralpark in Swedish) is a park in Helsinki, Finland. It has an area of 10 square kilometres. The park stretches 10 kilometres from Töölönlahti Bay in the south to the border of Helsinki and Vantaa in the north. The park is not a gardened one but instead consists mostly of lightly managed woodland crisscrossed by gravel paths. The Paloheinä forest, a northern extension of the park, is Helsinki's main center for outdoor activities.
Munkkiniemi
Munkkiniemi (Swedish: Munksnäs, in slang Munkka) is a neighbourhood in Helsinki. Subdivisions within the district are Vanha Munkkiniemi, Kuusisaari, Lehtisaari, Munkkivuori, Niemenmäki and Talinranta. The land in Munkkiniemi was from the 17th century a part of Munksnäs manor. In the 1910s grandiose plans were made to expand all of western Helsinki with tens of thousands of new inhabitants, the so-called Munksnäs-Haga plan by Eliel Saarinen.
Pikku Huopalahti
Pikku Huopalahti is a neighbourhood of Helsinki between Mannerheimintie (the main entrance road to Helsinki) in the east and Huopalahdentie to its west. One can say roughly speaking that the neighborhood is bordered by the streets of Vihdintie and Läpinmäentie to the north, Mannerheimintie to the east, Huopalahdentie to the west, Kuusitie and Mäntytie on the southeast, and Paciuksenkatu to the immediate south.
Munkkivuori
Munkkivuori is a quarter of the Munkkiniemi neighbourhood in Helsinki. The buildings and the plan of site are typical of the late 1950s. Most of the residential buildings in Munkkivuori are within a loop formed by Ulvilantie ring road. The automotive traffic to the residential buildings is routed along Ulvilantie whereas Raumantie no through road terminating in the center of the Ulvilantie loop provides access to public services and limits the through-traffic in residential areas.
Niemenmäki
Niemenmäki is a quarter of the Munkkiniemi neighbourhood in Helsinki. Niemenmäki was constructed in the early 1960s. The nearby Shopping center provides everyday services to Niemenmäki inhabitants. Huopalahdentie road separates Niemenmäki from Munkkivuori in the West and Lapinmäentie road from Haaga in the North. Allotment gardens separate Niemenmäki both from Pikku Huopalahti in the East and from Vanha Munkkiniemi in the South.
Meilahti Hospital
The Meilahti Hospital, part of the Helsinki University Central Hospital (HUCH), is the largest hospital in Finland, located in the Meilahti district of Helsinki. The hospital has a helipad with the ICAO airport code EFHY.
Haaga
Not to be confused with The Hague. Haaga is a district and a former municipality in the Western major district of Helsinki with a population of 25,435. Haaga is divided into four subareas, which are Pohjois-Haaga (northern Haaga), Etelä-Haaga (southern Haaga), Kivihaka and Lassila. Haaga has two railway stations: Huopalahti railway station in south and Pohjois-Haaga railway station in north.
