Oulu railway station
The Oulu Railway Station is located in the centre of Oulu, Finland, in the city district of Vaara. All trains are operated by VR. Nearby is the bus station for long-distance buses. The railway station was built in 1886 when the Ostrobothnia railway line reached Oulu. The railway from the south to Oulu was electrified in 1983, using overhead electric wires at 25 kV. The electrification northwards from Oulu to Rovaniemi was not completed until 2004.
Oulun Energia Areena
Oulun Energia Areena or Oulu Ice Hall is an arena in the Raksila district of Oulu, in Finland. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and is the home arena of Kärpät. It opened in 1975 and holds 6,612 people. The arena's former name was Raksilan jäähalli. The name was changed to Oulun Energia Areena in 2006, after a sponsorship deal with Oulun Energia, an energy company based in Oulu.

Oulu University Hospital (OUH, Finnish: Oulun yliopistollinen sairaala, OYS) is a university hospital in Oulu, Finland. The hospital serves as the central hospital for Northern Ostrobothnia region. It was previously named as Oulu University Central Hospital (Finnish: Oulun yliopistollinen keskussairaala, OYKS).
