Cairo International Stadium
Cairo International Stadium or "Stad El-Qahira El-Dawly", is an Olympic-standard, multi-use stadium with an all-seated capacity of 75,000. It is the Arab World's third largest (after 5 Juillet 1962 Stadium in Algiers and after Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria). It is the foremost Olympic-standard facility befitting the role of Cairo, Egypt as the center of events in the region. It is also the 69th largest stadium in the world.

The Museum of Islamic Art, in Cairo, Egypt, is considered one of the greatest in the world, with its exceptional collection of rare woodwork and plaster artefacts, as well as metal, ceramic, glass, crystal, and textile objects of all periods, from all over the Islamic world. In recent years, the museum has displayed about 2,500 artefacts in 25 galleries, but it houses more than 102,000 objects, with the remainder in storage.

Unknown Soldier Memorial in (Cairo) is a pyramid-shaped monument in Nasr City, Cairo. 2008 Cairo landslide
The 2008 Cairo landslide happened on September 6, 2008, in Al-Duwayqa, an informal settlement in the Manshiyat naser neighborhood of east Cairo, Egypt. 119 people died in the rockslide. Boulders weighing as much as 70 tons rolled into the shantytown following the landslide. After most of the neighborhood had been flattened, those families still living in the slum were evicted and any remaining buildings were flattened by the government.

Juyushi Mosque
Al-Jam`e Al-Juyushi or Juyushi Mosque was built by Badr al-Jamali who was "Amir al Juyush" of the Fatimids. The mosque was completed in 478 H/1085 AD under the patronage of the then Caliph and Imam Ma'ad al-Mustansir Billah. It was built on an end of the Mokattam Hills which would ensure a view of the Cairo city. In the Ottoman period, the mosque was probably used by dervishes as a monastery.
