Dr. Rafael Ma. Moscoso National Botanical Garden (Jardin Botanico Nacional Dr. Rafael Ma. Moscoso) is a botanical garden in the heart of Santo Domingo. The park was founded in 1976 and was named after Dr. Rafael Ma. Moscoso, a Dominican botanist who cataloged the flora on the island of Hispaniola. Manoguayabo, Santo Domingo
Manoguayabo is a small suburb of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. It is best known as the birthplace of Major League Baseball pitcher Pedro Martínez. Manoguayabo is much like any other Dominican neighborhood, but by American standards is still poor.
