Morne Watt

Morne Watt (Watt Mountain) is a stratovolcano in the south of the island of Dominica. It rises to a height of 1,224 m (4,016 ft) and is the third highest peak in Dominica. A major eruption from Morne Watt producing pyroclastic flows took place about 1300 years ago. A moderately large phreatic eruption took place at the Valley of Desolation thermal area NE of Morne Watt in 1880, when volcanic ash fell over a 4-km-wide sector at the coast, 10 km from the vent.

Princess Margaret Hospital (Roseau)

Princess Margaret Hospital is the major trauma facility of Dominica, located in the northern Goodwill part of the capital, Roseau, to the northeast of Lindo Park, north of the Botanical Gardens of Roseau, southwest of Clifton Dupigny Technical College and south of Stock Farm Prison. There are approximately 15 house/resident doctors and 12 specialists. The hospital has a four-bed Intensive Care unit. A hyperbaric chamber exists, but is not (as of March 2007) operational.

Dominica State College, formerly Clifton Dupigny Community College, is a national college, located in the northern part of Roseau, Dominica in the Stock Farm area of the city. It is located just to the southeast of the Stock Farm Prison and northeast of Princess Margaret Hospital. It was named after the pioneer of universal education in Dominica, Clifton Dupigny, but was reestablished and renamed in September 2002.
