North Jutland County
North Jutland County is a former county in northern Denmark. It was located on the eastern half of Vendsyssel-Thy and the northernmost part of the Jutland peninsula. It was the largest county in Denmark, but with a relatively low population. The county seat was Aalborg, Denmark's fourth largest city. The county was abolished effective January 1, 2007, when it merged into North Denmark Region.

1000Fryd is a small café, bar, and community center with a stage, a recording studio, a cinema, and an art gallery, located in Aalborg, Denmark. Since 1000Fryd opened in 1984 there have been thousands of concerts by both well known bands – such as Die Toten Hosen and Green Day – and utterly obscure local performers, such as Jimmy Justice and Columbian Neckties. It is a focus of the successful novel Nordkraft by Jakob Ejersbo. The bar and concert hall are located on the ground floor.

Aalborghus
Aalborghus Castle or Aalborghus Slot is a castle in Aalborg, Denmark. It is a half-timbered (bindingsværk) castle built by King Christian III from 1539 to around 1555 initially as a fortification. Soon it became the seat of the king's provincial governors in Northern Jutland, and after the introduction of absolutism, became used by the State County of Northern Jutland for taxes. A building had pre-existed at the site before Christian III's castle.
Abbey of Our Lady, Aalborg
The Abbey of Our Lady, Aalborg (Danish: Vor Frue Kloster) was an early Benedictine nunnery in Aalborg, Denmark. The former monastic church survived as a parish church, the Vor Frue Kirke ("Church of Our Lady"), until 1876, when it was demolished, and the present church of the name built on the site.
Jomfru Ane Gade
Jomfru Ane Gade, in Aalborg, is possibly Denmark's most famous street. It is popular with both locals and tourists for its lively atmosphere with all the restaurants and pubs on both sides of the street. It is said to be the street with the longest continuous stretch of restaurants and bars in Denmark. It is particularly busy on warm summer evenings.
Aalborg station
Aalborg station is a railway station in Aalborg, Denmark. Aalborg station opened in 1869, when the railroad between Aalborg and Randers was made. The original station building was designed by the Danish architect N. P. C Holsøe. In 1902 the present building opened. The present building was designed by the Danish architect Thomas Arboe. The station was listed in 1992. Aalborg Railway Station is serving as a connecting hub for rail traffic between North Jutland and the rest of Denmark.
Utzon Center
The Utzon Center in Aalborg, Denmark, was the last building to be designed by Jørn Utzon, the architect behind the Sydney Opera House. In collaboration with his son Kim who provided the final construction drawings, he planned the centre not as a museum but as a place where students of architecture could meet and discuss their ideas for the future. Located on the Limfjord waterfront in the city where Utzon spent his childhood, the building was completed in 2008.
