Geography of Denmark
Denmark is a Nordic country located in Northern Europe. It consists of the Jutland peninsula and several islands in the Baltic sea, referred to as the Danish Archipelago. Denmark is located southwest of Sweden and due south of Norway and is bordered by the German state (and former possession) Schleswig-Holstein to the south. Denmark borders both the Baltic and North Seas along its 7,314 km tidal shoreline.

Continental Denmark is the southernmost of the Nordic countries, located southwest of Sweden and south of Norway and bordered to the south by Germany.
Skanderborg Festival
The Skanderborg festival is an annual music festival held during the second weekend of August. Its scenic location, in a beech forest in the vicinity of Skanderborg, has given it the name Danmarks Smukkeste Festival ("Denmark’s Most Beautiful Festival"). It covers many styles of music, such as rock, pop, folk, heavy metal, hip-hop and electronic. The first festival was held in 1980 and was a one-day event with 7 bands and about 600 spectators.
Yding Skovhøj
Yding Skovhøj in Horsens municipality, Jutland is one of Denmark's highest points. Its height is 172.54 m above sea level when the height of one of the Bronze Age burial mounds built on the top of the hill is included. If these man-made structures are ignored the hill's highest point is at 170.77 m, which is 9 cm lower than Denmark's highest natural point, Møllehøj at 170.86 m. Ejer Bavnehøj is Denmark's third highest natural point at 170.35 m. Yding Forest covers the hill.
Gedved
Gedved is a small town with a population of 1,987 (1 January 2011) in Horsens municipality located between Skanderborg and Horsens in the middle eastern Jutland in Denmark's Region Midtjylland. In Gedved there is a college called VIA University College.
Horsens Municipality
Horsens municipality is a municipality in Region Midtjylland on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Endelave, and covers an area of 542 km². It has a total population of 81,957 (2010). Its mayor is Jan Trøjborg, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Horsens.
Juelsminde Municipality
Until January 1, 2007 Juelsminde municipality was a municipality in Vejle County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality included the island of Hjarnø, and covered an area of 240 km². It had a total population of 15,555 (2005). Its last mayor was Peter Schmidt Hansen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Juelsminde.
CASA Arena Horsens
CASA Arena Horsens (previously Forum Horsens Arena and Horsens Idrætspark) is a Danish football stadium and the home ground of AC Horsens. It has a capacity between 10,400 of which 7,500 is seated. The Rolling Stones were the first band to play a concert at the stadium. Madonna's concert in 2006 became the biggest concert on Horsens, with 85,232 fans in attendance.

Alrø
Alrø is a small Danish island in Horsens Fjord on the east coast of Jutland within Odder Municipality. With an area of 7.5 km, as of 1 January 2010 it has a population of 160. The island is 7 km long and 4 km wide at the widest point. It can be reached by road over the dam which connects it to the mainland on the northern side of the fjord. Alrø has been inhabited since the Stone Age. It has a small Romanesque church which dates from the 14th century.
Horsens Fjord
Horsens Fjord is an inlet in the east coast of the Danish peninsula of Jutland which stretches from the islands of Alrø and Hjarnø in the east to the town of Horsens on the mainland. It is some 20 kilometres long. The navigational channel to Horsens has a depth of 7 metres . Like the other East Jutland "fjords", geologically it is no fjord. The islands in the fjord are low-lying with grasslands and lagoons along their coasts.
Ejer Bavnehøj
Ejer Bavnehøj (also spelled Ejer Baunehøj) is the third-highest natural point in Denmark (170.35 m). It lies in the southern part of Skanderborg municipality, between the villages of Riis and Ejer. At its summit is a 13 m tall tower, built in 1924, commemorating the reunion of the south of Jutland with the rest of Denmark after the First World War.

Forum Horsens is an indoor arena that can be used to sport. It may also be use for concerts. There can be 4000 spectators for sports events. For concerts there can be 4500 sitting or 5000 standing.
