Hørsholm Municipality
Hørsholm Kommune is a municipality in the Copenhagen Capital Region in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 31 km², and has a total population of 24,197 (2008). Its mayor as of 2010 is Morten Slotved, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Hørsholm.
Søllerød Municipality
Until January 1, 2007, Søllerød was a municipality in Copenhagen County on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 39.77 km², and had a total population of 31,920 (2006). Its mayor is Erik Fabrin, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.

Rudersdal Municipality
Rudersdal Kommune is a municipality in Region Hovedstaden in Denmark. It is situated approximately 20 kilometers north of Copenhagen. It covers an area of 73 km² and in 2008 a total population of 53,869. The Rudersdal Commune building, formerly known as Søllerød Town Hall, completed in 1942, was designed by Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen.
Hirschholm Palace
Hirschholm Palace, also known as Hørsholm Palace, was a royal palace located in present-day Hørsholm municipality just north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 1740s and, one of the finest buildings of its time, it became known as the "Versailles of the North". It developed a notorious reputation in connection with its role in the affair between Johann Friedrich Struensee and Queen Caroline Mathilda in the 1770s.
Nivå
Nivå is a town with a population of 7,869 (1 January 2011) in the municipality of Fredensborg on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. Nivå is a residential town on the coast of the Øresund. It has a stop on the Copenhagen – Helsingør Kystbanen rail line. The town has a small shopping centre which also includes a library, a railway station, a marina and the Nivaagaards museum. The town possesses two schools; Centralskole and Niverødgaardskolen, whilst a golf course lies to the West.
Rungsted Kyst Station
Rungsted Kyst Station is one of the stops on one of the northern Zealand railways in Denmark. The City of Rungsted Kyst (meaning literally "the coast of Rungsted") is one of the outermost suburban areas of Copenhagen situated on the coast north of the Copenhagen Municipality.
Kokkedal
Kokkedal is the municipal seat of Fredensborg municipality and a northern settlement in the urban area of Hørsholm, located on the coastline of northern Zealand, Denmark, between the two towns, Nivå and Hørsholm, 30 km. north of Copenhagen. The settlement is connected with the Oresundtrain towards Copenhagen, Helsingør and Malmö. Kokkedal has, like Nivå, a high number of second & third generation immigrants, most of them with Turkish or Arab roots.

Vedbæk
Vedbæk is a small town in the municipality of Rudersdal, Denmark. It is located on the Øresund coast of Zealand, between Rungsted to the north and Skodsborg to the south. The town has a station on the busy Kystbanen railway line, approximately midway between Copenhagen and Helsingør. It also has a well-frequented marina. Vedbæk is perhaps best known for the Bøgebakken archaeological site, a Mesolithic cemetery of the Ertebølle culture.
Jægersborg Dyrehave
Dyrehaven (Danish 'The Deer Park'), officially Jægersborg Dyrehave, is a forest park north of Copenhagen. It covers around 11 square kilometres. Dyrehaven is noted for its mixture of huge, ancient oak trees and large populations of red and fallow deer. All entrances to the park have a characteristic red gate; one of the most popular entrances is Klampenborg gate, close to Klampenborg station.
Ravnsnæs

Brede, Denmark
Brede is a suburb (technically, a bydel, a named neighbourhood) 14 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark; it is part of Virum in the Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune, and approximately 3.500 live there. The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Frilandsmuseet (The Open Air Museum), and The National Museum of Denmark's new museum, Brede Works, is located in Brede. Nærumbanen stops in Brede.
Nærum
Nærum is a suburb of Copenhagen. 16km North of the city center. 5230 people live in Nærum, most of whom live either in low-rise concrete blocks or single-family houses. Skodsborg
Skodsborg is a small town/suburb approx. 20 km. north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The town has a population of 1,169 (1 January 2011) and lies in Rudersdal Kommune. The town is a coastal town but doesn't have a marina. The town has good beach access from the Strandvej and from the houses along the shore. A wide beach allows easy access along the coast. The western side of Skodsborg borders the Jægersborg Dyrehave with miles of trails for hiking and cycling.
Trørød
Trørød is a small suburb located approximately 20 km north of central Copenhagen. Formerly Trørød was a separate town, but today it is a settlement located in the southern part of the Hørsholm urban area together with the neighbouring settlements of Vedbæk and Gammel Holte.
Søllerød
Søllerød is a village and a northern suburb of Copenhagen. It was the seat of the former Søllerød Municipality, from 2007 part of the Rudersdal Municipality.
Brede Works
The National Museum of Denmark's new museum, Brede Works, lies in the countryside just north of Copenhagen in Denmark's largest, protected industrial plants. At the museum of Industrial culture, the visitors can be guided around by its own virtual person between old machines, hear how Denmark became an industrial society and even try to work at an assembly line. The exhibitions show the industrial development which has changed the everyday lives of the Danes over the past few centuries.
Øverød
Øverød is a neighborhood in Holte in the Copenhagen Metropolitan area. The district belongs to Rudersdal Municipality and is situated east of Via Regia and Rude Forest and north of Lake Søllerød. Øverød was originally an ancient village with its own city festival, but today Øverød is agglomerated with Holte, and these two areas have a total population of around 10,300 inhabitants (2008).
Gammel Holtegård
Gammel Holtegård is a former country house in Rudersdal Municipality north of Copenhagen, Denmark, today operated as an art exhibition space. It was built by the Danish Baroque architect Lauritz de Thurah for his own use in 1757. Its original Baroque gardens were reconstructed in 2003.
Krogerup Højskole
Krogerup Højskole is a folk high school located outside Humlebæk in Fredensborg-Humlebæk Municipality north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Founded in 1953, it is based in a former manor house built built from 1772 to 1777.
Rungsted
Rungsted is a neighborhood in the city of Hørsholm in the Hørsholm Municipality of Øresund, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The center of Hørsholm is located two kilometers west of Rungsted. At the Sound coast is Rungsted Harbour, a marina. Author Johannes Ewald lived from March 1773 to autumn 1775 at the then Rungsted Inn, where he had some of his most productive years and wrote Rungsteds Lyksaligheder - En Ode. The inn moved in 1803, and the buildings were renamed Rungstedlund.
Rungstedlund
Rungstedlund, also known as the Karen Blixen Museum, is a country house in Rungsted on the Øresund coast just north of Copenhagen, Denmark, notable for its association with the author Karen Blixen, who lived there for most of her life. She was born on the estate in 1885, and returned there after her years in Kenya, chronicled in her book Out of Africa, to do most of her writings. The property is today managed by the Rungstedlund Foundation as a historic house museum.
Rådvad
Raadvad, or Rådvad is a neighbourhood in the Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality, by the Mølleåen, in the middle of the Dyrehaven. It was originally a small industrial town, built around a waterwork, the Raadvad Mølle. In Raadvad today is a hostel and a restaurant, Raadvad Kro. People connected to Raadvad are the designer Georg Jensen, the painter Axel Lind, the historian Svend Aage Larsen and the early feminist activist Andrea Kibenich.
Søllerød Town Hall
Søllerød Town Hall, now renamed Rudersdal Town Hall, was built for the former Søllerød Municipality which in 2007 became part of Rudersdal Municipality, combining Søllerød and Birkerød. The building is located in the village of Søllerød some 19 km to the north of Copenhagen's city centre. Designed by Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen, it was completed in 1942.
