Gladsaxe Municipality
Gladsaxe Kommune is a municipality near Copenhagen in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 25 km², and has a total population of 65,962 (2012). Its mayor is Karin Søjberg Holst, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The site of its municipal council is the town of Buddinge.

Høje Gladsaxe is a large housing project, approximately 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The project contains five 15-story blocks and two 8-story blocks containing around 6,000 apartments. The project was finished in 1966. Today about 60–70% of the inhabitants are either immigrants or Danes with immigrant parents.
Tingbjerg
Tingbjerg is a large housing project designed and built from 1950 to 1972 by Steen Eiler Rasmussen as principal architect. It is located in Copenhagen County, 6 km northwest of the center of Copenhagen in Denmark. The area is idyllic in its own green pocket surrounded by Vestvolden and Utterslev Mose. There is plenty of light and air, beautiful nature and rich wildlife. The inhabitants are mixed with Danes and immigrants.
Villum Foundation
The Villum Foundation (formerly Villum Kann Rasmussen Foundation) was set up in 1971 by civil engineer Villum Kann Rasmussen (1909–1993). 10 years later, he set up VELUX Foundation. Rasmussen was the founder of VELUX, a Danish window company. It is now part of VKR Holding A/S, owned by the Rasmussen family and the Villum Foundation, which is the main shareholder. The foundations fund scientific, cultural, artistic and social projects, and award honorary prizes.
The VELUX Foundation
The VELUX Foundation was set up in 1981 by Villum Kann Rasmussen M. Sc. , Dr. Techn. h.c. (1909–1993). 10 years earlier, he had set up the Villum Foundation (formerly Villum Kann Rasmussen Foundation). In 1941, Villum Kann Rasmussen founded VELUX, a Danish company which specializes in windows and skylights.
