Brøndby Municipality
Brøndby Kommune, a municipality in the former Copenhagen County, is on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 28.05 km², and has a total population of 34,229 (1 October 2012). Its mayor is Ib Terp, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The site of its municipal council is the town of Brøndbyvester.

Hvidovre Hospital is a hospital located in Hvidovre near Copenhagen in Denmark. It is administered by the Capital Region of Denmark. The hospital was built from 1968 to 1979 and was officially opened on March 26, 1976. The hospital stands out for not being built high - the four main building are just three stories, whereas the building spans over 300,000 square meters. Hvidovre Hospital is one of Denmark's largest with more than 40,000 patients admitted each year.

Completed in 1956, it was designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. A fine example of the international architecture trends of the 1950s, it was inspired by the General Motors Technical Center to the north of Detroit.
