Pilsner Urquell
Plzeňský Prazdroj (Original Source of Pilsner), known better by its German name Pilsner Urquell, is a bottom-fermented beer produced since 1842 in Pilsen, part of today's Czech Republic. Pilsner Urquell was the first pilsner beer in the world. Today it is a prominent brand of the global brewing empire SABMiller. Pilsner Urquell is more strongly hopped than most pilsner beers. Saaz hops, a noble hop variety, are a key element in its flavour profile, as are the use of soft water and fire-brewing.
Great Synagogue (Plzeň)
The Great Synagogue in Plzeň (Pilsen), Czech Republic is the second largest synagogue in Europe. A Viennese architect called Fleischer drew up the original plans for the synagogue in Gothic style with granite buttresses and twin 65-meter towers. The cornerstone was laid on December 2, 1888 and that was about as far as it got. City councillors rejected the plan in a clear case of tower envy as they felt that the grand erection would compete with the nearby Cathedral of St. Bartholomew.

Úhlava
The Úhlava is a 108 kilometres long river in the Czech Republic, a right tributary of the Radbuza. Its source is situated on a slope of Pancíř mountain in the Šumava mountains, Klatovy District at an elevation of 1,214 metres . It passes the villages and towns Nýrsko, Janovice, Bezděkov, Klatovy, Švihov, Lužany, and Přeštice before flowing into the river Radbuza at the south edge of Plzeň. Its major affluent is the Chodská Úhlava. The basin area of the Radbuza is 919 square kilometres .

Doosan Arena, previously known as Stadion města Plzně (Stadium of the city of Pilsen) is a multi-purpose stadium in Plzeň, Czech Republic. It is located in the Štrunc Park near the confluence of Mže and Radbuza rivers. The stadium is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Viktoria Plzeň. The stadium holds 7,425 people.

Cathedral of St. Bartholomew (Plzeň)
The Cathedral of Saint Bartholomew (in Czech katedrála sv. Bartoloměje) dominates the city center of Pilsen in the Czech Republic. The construction of the Gothic style building, located on the main square, started in 1295 and was finished by the beginning of 16th century. The building is 58m long, 30m wide and the spires are 25m high. The tall spire is 102.6m high, being the highest in the Czech Republic, and also the third tallest building in the Czech Republic (until 1981).

Vršíček
Vršíček (431 metres above sea level) is a hill in the Czech Republic located in Rokycany District, Plzeň Region some 2.5 kilometres km northwest of Rokycany and 1 kilometre south of village of Litohlavy. On the summit of Vršíček there is a baroque chapel of the Visitation of Virgin Mary (Czech: kaple Navštívení Panny Marie), which was built in 1744-47. The construction of the chapel was funded by town of Rokycany and was intended to protect the town against plague.

Kozel Castle
Kozel is a hunting castle in classic style close to the city of Plzeň, Czech Republic. The castle was built at the end of 18th century by architect Václav Haberditz for Jan Vojtěch of Czernin. It is a ground-floor building around the inner rectangular court. Around the castle we can find also a chapel, riding school and a stable. The areal is surrounded by a large park. It is from which a very ancient ancestor of Kozels in the United States today.
Nebílovy Castle
Nebílovy Castle is situated about 16 km south of Plzeň, in west Bohemia, Czech Republic. Older renaissance manor was rebuilt into a baroque by architect and builder Jakub Auguston, probably according to the project of imperial architect J. L. Hildebrandt. Nebílovy castle consists of two buildings facing each other which used to be connected by arcade corridors and terraces along their sides. The castle was repaired by V. Haberditz and J. L. Palliardi in 18th century.

J. K. Tyl Theatre
Josef Kajetán Tyl Theatre (Czech: Divadlo Josefa Kajetána Tyla) is a main theatre in Plzeň, Czech Republic. The theatre was built between 1899-1902 in the neo-renaissance style with some art nouveau elements to the design of Antonin Balsanek. Every year the theatre performs some 18 premieres of drama, operas, operettas, ballets or musicals. In front of the façade stands a statue of Josef Kajetán Tyl by Alois Soper.
