Croatian Radiotelevision (Croatian: Hrvatska radiotelevizija, HRT) is a Croatian public broadcasting company. It operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. In 2011, more than 80% of HRT's revenue came from broadcast user fees with each household in Croatia required to pay 79 HRK per month for a single television set, with the remainder being made up from advertising.
Novi Zagreb
Novi Zagreb (literally "New Zagreb") is the part of the city of Zagreb located south of the Sava river, on the way from the Pleso airport to the city center. Novi Zagreb forms a distinct whole because it is separated from the northern part of the city both by the river and by the levees around Sava. It is mostly residential, consisting of blocks of flats and tower blocks that were built during the Socialist era (1945–1990).
Trnsko
Trnsko is a neighbourhood of Zagreb, Croatia, located south of Dubrovnik Avenue in Novi Zagreb - zapad. The population is 6,340. Trnsko was one of Novi Zagreb's first neighbourhoods constructed in early 1960s. The streets have no names, but the orientation is easy - Trnsko 1 is on the north and Trnsko 49 on the far south of the neighbourhood.
Sopot, Zagreb
Sopot is a residential neighbourhood of Zagreb, Croatia. It is part of the Novi Zagreb - istok district and it has a population of 8,741. Sopot was one of the earliest parts of Novi Zagreb to be built. It consists almost entirely of tower blocks and blocks of flats between which grow birch trees and poplars. The tram route for the No 7 and 14 trams runs along its northern edge and the No 6 has its turning point here.
Novi Zagreb – istok
Novi Zagreb – istok (English: New Zagreb – east) is a neighbourhood in Zagreb, Croatia. Within this neighbourhood in the quarter of Travno lies Mamutica, which was built to be the largest communal housing block in southeast Europe. Mamutica towers above other blocks of flats so that the impression is given that it must be on a hill even though the entire area is a flat plain. The neighborhood is served by the Gustav Krklec school (grades 1–8).
Trnje, Zagreb
Trnje is a district in the City of Zagreb, Croatia. According to the 2001 census, the district had 45,267 residents. It is located in the central part of the city, south of Donji grad across the railway, east of Trešnjevka (Savska road), west of Peščenica (Vjekoslav Heinzel Avenue and Marin Držić Avenue), and north of the river Sava. The Slavonska Avenue intersects Trnje.
Eurotower (Zagreb)
EuroTower is a high-rise building in Zagreb, Croatia, located at the intersection of the Vukovarska and Lučićeva streets, in the southwest corner. It was built in 2006. This office tower has 26 levels and it is 97.8 m tall. A smaller "twin" tower with 12 floors is currently being constructed, as of 2007. EuroTower is currently best known as the new headquarters of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The architect is Marijan Hržić, who is also the designer of the Cibona Tower in Zagreb.
Mamutica
Mamutica is the largest building (by volume) in Zagreb and Croatia, as well as one of the largest apartment blocks in Europe. This apartment complex was built in 1974 in Eastern Novi Zagreb, in the quarter of Travno. It is the Croatian version of the panelák or plattenbau. The building is about 240 m long, 70 m high and has 20 floors. There are 1,263 apartments in the building, home to about 5,000 people.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing is a faculty of the University of Zagreb. The faculty is regarded as the largest technical faculty and the leading educational as well as research-and-development institution in the fields of electrical engineering and computing in Croatia. FER owns four buildings situated in the Zagreb neighbourhood of Martinovka, Trnje. The total area of the site is 43,308 m .
University Computing Centre
The University Computing Centre in Zagreb (Croatian: Sveučilišni računski centar, abbreviated Srce, which also means "heart") is the oldest infrastructural institution of the Croatian academic and scientific community in the area of construction and application of information and communication technologies (ICT). Srce is an organizational unit belonging to the University of Zagreb, which (as at the time the only university in Croatia) founded Srce in 1971.
National and University Library in Zagreb
National and University Library in Zagreb (Croatian: Nacionalna i sveučilišna knjižnica u Zagrebu, NSK; formerly Nacionalna i sveučilišna biblioteka u Zagrebu, NSB) is the national library of Croatia and central library of the University of Zagreb. The national library was founded in 1607. Its primary mission is the development of the national literary corpus. It has around 2.5 million books.
Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall
Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall (Croatian: Koncertna dvorana Vatroslava Lisinskog) is a large concert hall and convention center in Zagreb, Croatia. It is named after Vatroslav Lisinski, a 19th-century Croatian composer. The building has a big hall with 1841 seats and a small hall with 305 seats. A large lobby doubles as an exhibition area.
Dubrovnik Avenue
Dubrovnik Avenue is an avenue located in the Novi Zagreb part of Zagreb, Croatia. It is mostly six or eight lanes wide. It runs between the roundabout beneath the southward extension of the Youth Bridge (Most mladosti) in the east and the Remetinec Roundabout in the west of Novi Zagreb. Its most important intersections are those with Većeslav Holjevac and Germany Avenues. Being the main east-west thoroughfare of Novi Zagreb, more than 40,000 commuters travel on it daily.
Utrine, Zagreb
Utrine (also Utrina) is a residential neighborhood located in the Novi Zagreb - istok city district of Zagreb, Croatia. It is bordered by Dubrovnik Avenue in the north, Germany Avenue in the west, Ukrajinska Avenue in the south and Sarajevska Road in the east. It has a population of 9,166 (2009). It is best known for its farmers' market. The neighborhood is also the site of the largest dog park in Zagreb, opened in 2012. Utrine is served by ZET tram lines 6, 7, 8 and 14.

Croatian Fraternal Union Avenue
Croatian Fraternal Union Avenue (Croatian: Avenija Hrvatske bratske zajednice, often shortened to Avenija HBZ) is a controlled-access avenue in Zagreb, Croatia. Going north-south, the avenue connects the Martinovka neighborhood near downtown and Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in the north with Novi Zagreb and the Freedom Bridge in the south.
Zagreb Central Station
Zagreb Central Station (Croatian: Zagrebački Glavni kolodvor) is the principal railway station in Zagreb and the largest in Croatia. It is located on King Tomislav Square in the centre of Zagreb. The construction of the building was started in 1890 and was officially opened in 1892. The project was overseen by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff. Larger reconstruction were made in 1986–87 (just before the 1987 Summer Universiade), and again in 2006.

Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb
The Museum of Contemporary Art (Croatian: Muzej suvremene umjetnosti, often abbreviated to MSU) is a contemporary art museum located on Dubrovnik Avenue in Zagreb, Croatia. It is the biggest and most modern museum in the country. The museum traces its origins from the City Gallery of Contemporary Art which was established in 1954. The gallery was located at the Kulmer Palace in the Upper Town area and also housed the Center for Photography, Film and Television and a museum library.
Liberty Bridge, Zagreb
Liberty Bridge is a four-lane road bridge over Sava River in Zagreb, Croatia. The Većeslav Holjevac Avenue crosses over it, connecting Trnje with Novi Zagreb in the central part of the city.
