Estadio Jose Rafael "Fello" Meza Ivankovich is a multi-use stadium in Cartago, Costa Rica. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of C.S. Cartaginés. The stadium holds 13,500 people and was built in 1949.
Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles (Basílica)
The Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles (Our Lady of the Angels Basilica) is a Roman Catholic basilica in Costa Rica, located in the city of Cartago and dedicated to the Virgen de los Pardos, officially known as Virgen de los Ángeles (the Lady of the Angels). The basilica was built in 1639 and was partially destroyed by an earthquake. Oreamuno (canton)
Oreamuno is the name of the seventh canton in the province of Cartago in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 202.31 km², and has a population of 41,584. The capital city of the canton is San Rafael. The canton extends from its suburban capital city of San Rafael northward into the Cordillera Central (Central Mountain Range). Irazú Volcano looms large in the northern reaches of the canton. The canton of Oreamuno is subdivided into 5 distritos (districts).
Santa Lucía de Paraíso
Santa Lucía is the youngest of the districts of Paraíso, Costa Rica. It started as a "precario" in the mid eighties, that is a piece of land that was invaded by homeless people who built makeshift houses until the land was granted to them by the government so that they became the owners of the properties. The population grew so rapidly that in less than 20 years, and even if its size is just a couple of miles long, it was declared a new district.
