Antioquia department
The Department of Antioquia is one of the 32 departments of Colombia, located in the central northwestern part of Colombia with a narrow section that borders the Caribbean Sea. Most of its territory is mountainous with some valleys, much of which is part of the Andes mountain range.
La Catedral
La Catedral was a prison overlooking the city of Medellín in Colombia. The prison was built to specifications ordered by Medellín Cartel leader Pablo Escobar, under agreement with the Colombian government. Escobar would surrender to authorities, serve a maximum term of five years, and the Colombian government would not extradite him to the United States.

Estadio Atanasio Girardot
Estadio Atanasio Girardot is a multi-purpose stadium in Medellín, Colombia. It is currently used mostly for football matches by two local teams, Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellín. It is part of the Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot, which also contains other sports facilities. The stadium was built in 1953 and was renovated for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia reaching a maximum capacity of 45,000.

Coliseo Cubierto Mayor, also known as Coliseo Cubierto Iván de Bedout is an indoor sporting arena built in 1955 that is located in Medellín, Colombia. The capacity of the arena is for 6,000 people and is primarily used for basketball. The arena hosted the basketball competitions for the 2010 South American Games.

Estadio Polideportivo Sur is a multi-use stadium in Envigado, Colombia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 12,000 people and was built in 1992. Envigado Fútbol Club and Alianza Petrolera plays their home matches at this stadium.

Manuel Uribe Ángel
Manuel María Uribe Angel (4 September 1822–16 June 1904) was a Colombian physician, geographer and politician, he has been called the "father of medicine of Antioquia" for his contributions to the advances of the practice of medicine in Colombia and the Antioquia Department. He was also known outside the realm of medicine for his studies and works on the geography and history of Colombia. He also served as President of the then Sovereign State of Antioquia and as Senator of Colombia.
Cerro El Volador
The El Volador Hill (Cerro El Volador, officially Ecoparque Cerro El Volador) is a colombian hill in Medellín, Antioquia, and the biggest protected area in the metropolitan area of the city. The park has 106 hectares and also is one of the seven tutelary hills in the city. Many of the first settlements into the Aburrá Valley were established in the hill, in the center-western zone, the actual Robledo. This hill is surrounded by the Quebrada La Iguaná (La Iguaná stream), at south.
Park of Bolívar
The Park of Bolívar (Parque de Bolívar) or Bolívar Park (Parque Bolívar), as it is popularly known, is a colombian urban park in Medellín, Antioquia. The park was inaugurated in 1892 and named in honor of the liberator Simón Bolívar, and until 1923 the park has an equestrian statue in its center designed by the Italian sculptor Giovanni Anderlini and cast by the Italian sculptor Eugenio Maccagnani.

Metropolitan Cathedral of Medellín
The Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Medellín is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Medellín. Built in an eclectic, but predominantly Romanesque style, it is 45 m high and covers an area of 5,000 m . It is built entirely in baked brick, and is the largest cathedral in the world in such material.
Envigado bridge
The Peldar Bridge at Envigado is a concrete cable-stayed bridge in Envigado, Colombia.. The bridge carries Las Vegas avenue and crosses 37 Street. The construction of the bridge was also central to the regeneration plan for the neighborhood. This bridge was conceived as representation of the effort and persistence of the community to overcome the convulsed situation that lived the country at the time of construction.
