Jinshajiang Road is the name of an interchange station on Lines 3 and 4 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located in Putuo District, Shanghai. On December 30, the Line 13 portion of the Jinshajiang station began its test runs, providing service westbound towards Jinyun Road. Although service did not include mobile or Wi-Fi signals, the metro did provide stops to five stations in Jiading District. Two more stations will complete construction in 2013. The station is near East China Normal University.

Nanyang Model High School
Shanghai Nanyang Model High School, often referred to simply as Nanmo, is one of the oldest Chinese modern schools founded in 1901 by Sheng Xuanhuai, Minister of Transportation in Qing Dynasty. As "the beginning of public elementary schools", the school started as the Affiliated Elementary School of Nanyang Public School (which is now Shanghai Jiaotong University, a public research university in China).
Zhongshan Park Station
Zhongshan Park is the name of an interchange station between Lines 2, 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro, named after Shanghai's largest commercial park which is located nearby. This station is also one of the few stations to have a store located inside the station: the Silver Fruit bakery, which is in the interchange passage between Line 2 and Line 3/Line 4.
Xujiahui Station
Xujiahui is the name of an interchange station between Lines 1 and 9 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located in the Xujiahui area of Xuhui District, Shanghai. The station is one of the busiest in the metro system, and is extremely crowded during peak hours. Six large shopping malls and eight large office towers are each within no more than a three-minute walk of one of the station's exits.

Beijing Television Cultural Center fire
The Beijing Television Cultural Center fire was a massive blaze on 9 February 2009, in the centre of Beijing, involving the uncompleted Television Cultural Center building. The building was adjacent to the CCTV Headquarters, is owned by China Central Television, and was scheduled for completion in May 2009. Currently, the BTCC is being rebuilt. At 8:27 p.m.
Shanghai Library
Shanghai Library is the second largest library in China after the National Library of China in Beijing. It is located in Shanghai, China. At 24 stories and 348 feet (106 m) tall, it is one of the tallest libraries in the world. The building has a tower that looks like a giant lighthouse.
Jiaotong University Station
JiaoTong University Station is the name of a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. The station entered operation in April 2010. It will also interchange with Line 11 when it enters operation in 2012. The famous Shanghai Jiao Tong University is located near the station, thus giving the station its name.
C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum
The C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum (董浩云航运博物馆 Dǒng Hàoyún Hángyùn Bówùguǎn) is located in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It houses the Chinese Maritime History Gallery and the C. Y. Tung Gallery. The former contains a permanent exhibition of maps, photographs, archival material, maritime trade routes and their artifacts, reflecting China's maritime history since the Neolithic Period. The latter portrays the Chinese shipping magnate C. Y. Tung.
Shanghai Wheelock Square
Shanghai Wheelock Square is a skyscraper located in Puxi, Shanghai, China. It is the 52nd-tallest building in the world. The Wheelock Square building has 58 floors, and just over 100,000 sqm of prime office space. It is located across the street from the Jing’an Temple Metro station, providing convenient transportation on Lines 2 and 7.
Changping Road Station
Changping Road Station is the name of a station on Line 7 of the Shanghai Metro. It is situated within the inner ring-road in Jing'an District. It entered operation in December 2009, together with the other stations on the line.
Shanghai International Gymnastic Center
The Shanghai International Gymnastic Center is a basketball arena, in Changning District, Shanghai, China. The arena holds 4,000 people. It is currently used mostly for Artistic gymnastics events.
2010 Shanghai fire
The 2010 Shanghai fire was a fire on 15 November 2010 that destroyed a 28-story high-rise apartment building in the city of Shanghai, China, killing at least 58 people and injuring more than 70 others (with at least one source reporting more than 120 others injured). An investigation under the PRC State Council was announced on 16 November, the day after the fire, to determine the cause of the blaze.
