Huangpu River
The Huangpu is a 113 kilometres -long river in China flowing through Shanghai. It is the last significant tributary of the Yangtze before it empties into the East China Sea. The Bund and Lujiazui are located along the river. Huangpu River is the largest river in Shanghai, with Suzhou Creek being its major tributary. It is an average of 400 meters wide and 9 meters deep. It divides the city into two regions: Pudong to its east and Puxi to the west.

Wusong
Wusong, formerly Woosung, is a port town located fourteen miles downriver from Shanghai. The Battle of Woosung occurred on 16 June 1842 between British and Chinese forces during the First Opium War. It was the site of China's first telegraph wires and first railroad, both running to Shanghai along what is today the route of the Shanghai Metro's elevated Line 3. Tongji University was founded here in 1909.
Shiguang Road Station
Shiguang Road is a Shanghai Metro station in Yangpu District. The station is the current northern terminus of Line 8 and is located on Zhongyuan Road between Kailu Road and Shiguang Road. The station was opened on December 29, 2007 as part of the first phase of Shanghai Metro Line 8 from Shiguang Road to Yaohua Road. There are two side platforms, one for passengers boarding trains, and the other for disembarking trains.
Gangcheng Road Station
Gangcheng Road Station is the current northern terminus of Line 6 on the Shanghai Metro network. It began operation on December 29, 2007. The station is situated near the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and the Harbour in Pudong. Gangcheng Road will also be a station on Line 10 when the final phase of that line is complete.

Jiangwan Airport is a former airport, located in the northeast part of Shanghai in the People’s Republic of China. The airport was redeveloped and the land is currently part of the urban area of the city.
Gaoqiao, Shanghai
Gaoqiao is a town in Pudong New Area in Shanghai, China. Gaoqiao Old Town dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty. Gaoqiao New Town, also known as Holland Village or Holland Town, is a new town with a Dutch architectural theme. Gaoqiao is located at the northern end of Pudong, on the east bank of the Huangpu River and next to Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone. It has an area of 39 square kilometres, and had a registered population of 84,900 in 2008. The town is served by Shanghai Metro Line 6.
