Shifeng Bridge
Shifeng Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge on Beijing's western 5th Ring Road. It is near Wanping, near the Marco Polo Bridge. Nearly 1.4 kilometres in length, it is a trademark bridge of the 5th Ring Road. Under the bridge runs many railways to other parts of China. The bridge is so named because it crosses from Shijingshan District into Fengtai District. Shifeng Bridge is well illuminated at night.
Marco Polo Bridge
The Marco Polo Bridge or Lugou Bridge is a famous stone bridge located 15 km southwest of the Beijing city center in the Fengtai District. It bridges the Yongding River—a major tributary of Hai River (although, in recent years, the water of Yongding River has been diverted to different areas of Beijing so often there is no water under the bridge).
Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery
The Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery is Beijing's main resting place for the highest-ranking revolutionary heroes, high government officials and in recent years, individuals deemed of major importance due to their contributions to society. In Chinese, Babaoshan literally means "The Eight-Treasure Mountains". The cemetery is located in the Shijingshan District, a municipality located in western Beijing.

Wanping Fortress
Wanping Fortress, also known as Wanping Castle is a Ming Dynasty fortress, or "walled city" in Beijing. It was erected in 1638–1640, with the purpose of defending Beijing against Li Zicheng and the peasant uprising. It lies adjacent to the Lugou Bridge. The Wanping Fortress has two gates, the east gate named Ever Prosperous Gate (永昌门, Yongchangmen), then renamed as Majestic Gate (威严门), and the west gate named as Favorably Govern Gate (顺治门, Shunzhimen).
Marco Polo Bridge Incident
The Marco Polo Bridge Incident (盧溝橋事變; also known as 七七事變, 七七盧溝橋事變 or the Lugouqiao Incident) was a battle between the Republic of China's National Revolutionary Army and the Imperial Japanese Army, often used as the marker for the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945). The eleven-arch granite bridge, Lugouqiao, is an architecturally significant structure, restored by the Kangxi Emperor (1662–1722).
