Temple of Heaven
The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. It has been regarded as a Taoist temple, although Chinese Heaven worship, especially by the reigning monarch of the day, pre-dates Taoism.
Beijing Railway Station
Beijing Railway Station is one of Beijing's railway stations, opened in the 1950s, as can be seen from its architecture (which merges traditional architecture with 50s-design). It is located in the city's central location, just next to Jianguomen, and is within the confines of the city's 2nd Ring Road. Trains enter and leave to the scenery of a former Beijing city gate at Dongbianmen.
Chongwen District
Chongwen is a former district of the Municipality of Beijing, located relatively southeast to the city center, and was situated between Yongdingmen and Qianmen. It spanned an area of 16.46 square kilometers. It bordered Dongcheng District to the north, Fengtai District to the south, Chaoyang to the east, and Xuanwu District to the west. It merged into Dongcheng District in July, 2010.
Beijing Ancient Observatory
The Beijing Ancient Observatory is a pretelescopic observatory located in Beijing, China. The revolutionary tools used within this ancient observatory were built in 1442 during the Ming Dynasty, and later amended during the Qing. As one of the oldest observatories in the world, the Beijing Ancient Observatory grounds cover an area of 10,000 square meters.

Longtan Park
The Longtan Park (simplified Chinese: 龙潭湖公园; traditional Chinese: 龍潭湖公園; pinyin: Lóngtánhú Gōngyuán; literally "Dragon Pool", is a recreational park located in the Chongwen district of Beijing, just east of the Temple of Heaven. There is also a large outdoor bird market in the park.

Circular Mound Altar
The Circular Mound Altar (圜丘坛 yuán qiū tán) is an outdoor empty circular platform on three levels of marble stones, located in Beijing. It is part of the Temple of Heaven. It was constructed in 1530, during the 9th year of Emperor Jiajing's reign of the Ming Dynasty, and enlarged in 1749 (the 14th year of the Emperor Qianlong's reign of the Qing Dynasty). The round terrace was first covered with deep blue glazed slabs surrounded with a white marble balustrade when it was expanded.
