Zhongnanhai
Zhongnanhai is an imperial garden in central Beijing, China adjacent to the Forbidden City which serves as the central headquarters for the Communist Party of China and the State Council (Central government) of the People's Republic of China. The term Zhongnanhai is closely linked with the central government and senior Communist Party officials.

Xidan is a major traditional commercial area in Beijing, China. It is located in the Xicheng District. The Xidan commercial district incorporates the Xidan Culture Square, North Xidan Street, as well as many supermarkets and department stores. The Xidan Cultural Square is the largest venue for cultural events in downtown Beijing.
Beihai Park
Beihai Park is an imperial garden to the northwest of the Forbidden City in Beijing. First built in the 10th century, it is amongst the largest of Chinese gardens, and contains numerous historically important structures, palaces and temples. Since 1925, the place has been open to the public as a park. It is also connected at the south to the Shichahai. The Park has an area of more than 69 hectares, with a lake that covers more than half of the entire Park.
Geological Museum of China
The Geological Museum of China (中国地质博物馆), built in 1916, is a geological museum, boasting 200 thousand specimens. This museum is located in the Xisi area of Beijing and opened on October 1, 1959. It is the earliest geological scientific museum of China. At present, the Geological Museum of China has more than 100,000 geological specimens.
Miaoying Temple
The Miaoying Temple, also known as the "White Stupa Temple", is a Chinese Buddhist temple on the north side of Fuchengmennei Street in Xicheng District of Beijing. There were temples built on the sites since the Liao and Yuan dynasties. The temple's famous white stupa also dates to the Yuan Dynasty. However, the present-building dates to the Ming Dynasty as well as its given name, "Miaoying", meaning "Divine Retribution".

Guangji Temple
The Guangji Temple of Beijing, located at inner Fuchengmen Street, in the Xicheng District, is a renowned Buddhist temple. It is also the headquarters of the Buddhist Association of China. Originally built in the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234), additions were made to the temple by successive dynasties. However, the present temple was completed during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). It covers an area of 5.766 acres .

Beijing Concert Hall
The Beijing Concert Hall (北京音乐厅; Beijing Yinyueting) is located on the Beixinhuajie in Xicheng District, near the west Chang'an Avenue, on the south of Liubukou. As one of the Beijing's main international concert hall, many musicians have performanced here before, such as Yehudi Menuhin, Seiji Ozawa, Yo-Yo Ma, Plácido Domingo and Paul Badura-Skoda.
Cultural Palace of Nationalities
The Cultural Palace of Nationalities (民族文化宫) is located in Beijing's Xicheng District, on West Chang'an Avenue. It was built in September 1959 and is one of the Ten Great Buildings. It was registered as the first of 55 museums in the city. It consists of a museum, gallery, library, art institute, theater, guesthouse, and other facilities. As a cultural institution, it is under the administration of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China.
