University of Chile
The University of Chile (Spanish: Universidad de Chile) is the largest and oldest institution of higher education in Chile and one of the oldest in Latin America. Founded in 1842 as the replacement and continuation of the former colonial Royal University of San Felipe (1738), the university is often called Casa de Bello (House of Bello) in honor of its first president, Andrés Bello. Notable alumni include two Nobel laureates and twenty heads of state among many others.
Pontifical Catholic University of Chile
The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC or PUC) (Spanish: Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) is one of the six Catholic Universities existing in the Chilean university system and one of the two Pontifical Universities in the country, along with the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso. Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos
The Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos is the national stadium of Chile, and is located in the Ñuñoa district of Santiago). It is the largest stadium in Chile with an official capacity of 47,000 and it is part of a 62 ha sporting complex which also features tennis courts, an aquatics center, a modern gymnasium, a velodrome, a BMX circuit, and an assistant ground/warmup athletics track. Construction began in February 1937 and the stadium was inaugurated on December 3, 1938.
Plaza de la Ciudadanía
Plaza de la Ciudadanía is a public square located in the southern façade of the Palacio de La Moneda in Santiago. It used to be part of the grass garden and parking area of the Palace. Construction began in November 2004, as part of the Bicentennial Projects (a series of public works initiated by the executive branch all over the country for the purpose of celebrating the nation's 200 years of independence).
Biblioteca Nacional de Chile
The Biblioteca Nacional de Chile is the national library of Chile. It is located on the Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins in Santiago, in a building completed in 1925, though its history reaches to the early nineteenth century before it was relocated to its current home.

Chile Tennis Federation
Chile Tennis Federation (Spanish: Federación de Tenis de Chile) is the national governing body of a tennis in Chile. The federation was formed on April 3, 1920 in Santiago, under the name of the Lawn Tennis Association of Chile(LTAC). In 1948 LTAC joined the International Tennis Federation. At the national level it is affiliated to the Olympic Committee of Chile and on region basis it is the member of South America Tennis Confederation.
Museo Colonial
Museo Colonial is a historical, cultural and religious museum located in Santiago, Chile. The museum explores the colonial period of Chile and South America, with a collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture and other objects. Many of the pieces are religious, and were created in Peru, the former colonial capital. The museum also features a genealogical tree of the Franciscan Order which is "gigantic" in size and includes 644 miniature portraits.
Barrio París-Londres
Barrio París-Londres is a barrio located in Santiago, Chile. The neighborhood intersects at Calle Londres and Calle París, located behind the San Francisco Church, in its former orchard. Barrio París-Londres features shops, hostels, hotels and cobble stone streets with renovated mansions, reminiscent of the Latin Quarter in Paris, France. The barrio was developed in 1923 by a group of architects, and consists of only two streets.
San Francisco Church, Santiago de Chile
The San Francisco Church is a Franciscan church on Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, in the downtown of Santiago de Chile. The church, along with the adjacent convent, has the distinction of being the oldest colonial-era building in the country. The church was consecrated in 1622. The bell tower was destroyed by an earthquake in 1647, while the rest of the building successfully resisted it. In 1730 another earthquake badly damaged the rebuilt tower, which was demolished in 1751.
Basílica de los Sacramentinos
The Basílica de los Sacramentinos is a church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Santiago de Chile. It administered by the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and its design was inspired by the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur in Paris. The main cupola of the church has a structural height of 69 m .
Palacio Cousiño
The Palacio Cousiño is a palace that was designed and built for Isidora Goyenechea, widow of Luis Cousiño, who in turn was son of Matías Cousiño. It is located at 438 Dieciocho Street in Santiago, Chile. The palace was designed by architect Paul Lathoud, who also designed the building housing the Chilean National Museum of Natural History. The palace was constructed in Second Empire Style and completed in 1878.

Parque O'Higgins is a metro station on the Line 2 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located in the middle of the east branch of the Autopista Central, on a raised earthen embankment. The station is named for the adjacent Parque O'Higgins.

Toesca is a metro station on the Line 2 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located in the middle of a sunken stretch of the Autopista Central. The station is named for the nearby Toesca Street, which in turn is named after Joaquín Toesca, who designed La Moneda Palace. The station is close to the Palacio Cousiño.
Parque Bustamante metro station
Parque Bustamante is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located beneath Parque Bustamante, which gives the name to the station. Originally the platform side walls featured mosaics that were vaguely designed to resemble trees. That decoration was disguised by the mural-like artwork named Vida y Trabajo, which was completed in 2008.
Ñuble metro station
Ñuble is a metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station has street-level platforms with an underground ticket hall, which is accessed from the south sidewalk of the underpass under the station, which carries Carlos Dittborn Avenue. That street originates half-block west of the station as the continuation of Ñuble Street, which gives its name to the station. Its copper-clad roof is supported by girder arches, which have circular holes.
Rondizzoni metro station
Rondizzoni is a metro station on the Line 2 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located in the middle of a depressed alignment of Autopista Central and close to the southeast corner of O'Higgins Park. When the station opened, its name was Rondizzoni-Famae. Afterward, the name was truncated to just Rondizzoni. The station has an entrance on the Rondizzoni Avenue overpass. Line 2 enters a curved tunnel just south of the station and remains underground until its southern terminus.
Rodrigo de Araya metro station
Rodrigo de Araya is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station consists of an elliptical cylindrical structure enclosing the side platforms and tracks. Staircases jut out from the tubular structure and lead to the concourse level, which is located below the viaduct deck. Currently the platforms are being enlarged from 108 m to 135 m, to support seven-car trains.
Carlos Valdovinos metro station
Carlos Valdovinos is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. Platforms are being lengthened to accommodate seven-car trains. The station has the shape of a tube with an elliptical cross section. Staircases protrude from both sides of the station.

Camino Agrícola is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is similar in design as the adjacent stations. The station has two side platforms 108 m long and accommodate five-car trains, but currently these are being extended to 135 m and seven-car lengths.
Franklin metro station
Franklin is an underground metro station on the Line 2 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is named for the Barrio Franklin. The station has a central mezzanine on the first level down containing turnstiles and a ticket booth. Stairs at the two northernmost corners of the mezzanine provide access to the platform level, whereas at south end of the mezzanine, one stair per platform go up to it. A passageway connects the mezzanine's east end to the only access to the station.
Teatro Caupolicán
Teatro Caupolicán (Caupolicán Theatre) is a Chilean theatre located on San Diego street in Santiago, Chile. It first opened in 1936. During its history it has hosted sporting, political, and cultural events, as well as concerts by Chilean and international artists.
