Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos
The Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos is the national stadium of Chile, and is located in the Ñuñoa district of Santiago). It is the largest stadium in Chile with an official capacity of 47,000 and it is part of a 62 ha sporting complex which also features tennis courts, an aquatics center, a modern gymnasium, a velodrome, a BMX circuit, and an assistant ground/warmup athletics track. Construction began in February 1937 and the stadium was inaugurated on December 3, 1938.
Villa Grimaldi
Villa Grimaldi was a complex of buildings used for the interrogation and torture of political prisoners by DINA, the Chilean secret police, during the government of Augusto Pinochet. The complex was located in Peñalolén, in the outskirts of Santiago, and was in operation from mid-1974 to mid-1978. About 5,000 detainees were brought to Villa Grimaldi during this time, at least 240 of whom were "disappeared" or killed by DINA.

The Grange School is a private co-ed school in La Reina, Santiago, Chile with an enrollment of about 1,800 and over 300 employees. It is known for a strong sports program in addition to high academic standards. It was founded June 4, 1928, by John A.S. Battle of Pucará
The Battle of Pucará was fought on February 5, 1882, during the Sierra Campaign of the War of the Pacific. With a two-to-one superiority in numbers and even more in artillery, the Chilean army under the command of Colonel Estanislao del Canto was unable to destroy the little Peruvian army of General Cáceres, and withdrew to the town of Pucará leaving the Peruvian army to continue its strategic retreat.
Tobalaba metro station
Tobalaba is a station on the Santiago Metro in Santiago, Chile. The works of conversion of the station into a transfer station between the Line 1 and the new Line 4 were completed in 2005. The appearance of the original station was also altered. The station is the northern terminus of the Line 4 and is the closest metro station to the Costanera Center.
2010 Santiago prison fire
The 2010 Santiago prison fire was a conflagration in the San Miguel prison in Santiago, Chile, in which 81 inmates were killed, making it the country's deadliest prison incident. The fire broke out at 5:30am Chile Daylight Time, on the third floor, reportedly during a fight between rival gangs who set mattresses alight. Local firefighters took around three hours to bring the fire under control.
Iglesia de la Divina Providencia
The Iglesia de la Divina Providencia is a church in Santiago, Chile. It is administered by the Sisters of Providence. Designed by architect Eduardo Provasoli, the church was built between 1881 and 1890 in Neo-Renaissance style. It gives its name to the district of Providencia and also to Avenida Providencia. The top of its bell tower was destroyed by the 2010 Chile earthquake.
Pedro de Valdivia metro station
Pedro de Valdivia is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is named for the nearby Pedro de Valdivia Avenue, which in turn was named for Pedro de Valdivia. The platform level features a vaulted drop ceiling of stained glass. A second work of art is entitled La Ciudad (The City), which consists of four enameled steel murals placed on the walls of the four platform stairways. Both artworks were unveiled on January 13, 1999.

Los Leones is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is named for the nearby Los Leones Avenue. Located in the heart of the commercial area of Providencia, some of its entrances are integrated into the retail lower levels of buildings. A ceramic mosaic by the artist Ramón Vergara Grez was installed in 1993. As of 2011, the original tiles on its walls have been completely removed.

Las Torres is a freeway-median metro station on the Line 4 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is built into the median of Vespucio Sur expressway. The station is located immediately north of the cloverleaf interchange of Américo Vespucio Avenue and Las Torres Avenue, which is named so because it features high tension towers along its median (Las Torres is Spanish for The Towers). Las Torres Avenue gives its name to the station.

Plaza Egaña metro station
Plaza Egaña is an underground metro station on the Line 4 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located under Egaña Square. The cross-section of the platform-level tunnel has the shape of two partially intersecting circles, which was so designed due to the predominant presence of clay in the surrounding soil. Support columns of 1.1 m in diameter separate the tracks from each other. The platforms have 140 m long.

It acts as a central support structure for the northern bridge of a roundabout interchange called Quilín. The station features an undulating roof whose central portion is part of the road deck of the aforementioned bridge.
Rodrigo de Araya metro station
Rodrigo de Araya is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station consists of an elliptical cylindrical structure enclosing the side platforms and tracks. Staircases jut out from the tubular structure and lead to the concourse level, which is located below the viaduct deck. Currently the platforms are being enlarged from 108 m to 135 m, to support seven-car trains.

The station has two side platforms 108 m long and accommodate five-car trains, but currently these are being extended to 135 m and seven-car lengths.
