1980 Saskatoon Queen's Hotel fire
On May 31, 1980, there was a fire in the basement of the Queen's Hotel, 1st Avenue South, Saskatoon, Canada. For the first time in Saskatoon's history, two firefighters were killed while attempting to extinguish the flames; Victor James Budz and Dennis Aron Guenter.
Central Business District, Saskatoon
The Central Business District is one of seven suburban development districts in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The central business district is Ward 6 of a Mayor-Council government represented by councillor Charlie Clark. Formerly called West Saskatoon, this area arose when the steam engines built their pumping stations on the lower west bank of the South Saskatchewan River. Retail enterprises sprang up around the newly created train station and rail yards.

TCU Place, formerly known as the Saskatoon Centennial Auditorium, is a 104,000-square-foot convention and arts centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Situated in the Central Business District it is located next to Midtown Plaza. The Saskatoon Centennial Auditorium was opened April 1, 1968. In 2006 the centre underwent major renovation with funding from TCU Financial. The name TCU Place Arts & Convention Centre is sponsored for 10 years.

The Canada Building (built in 1913) is a historic eight story office block in the Central Business District, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The building is 35.05 m in height featuring red granite facing on the base, with terra cotta details on the lower two floors and cornice near the roof. The office building features large bison heads flanking the main doorway.
Arthur Cook Building
The Arthur Cook Building (built in 1928) is a designated historic building in the Central Business District, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Originally built as a warehouse for the Saskatoon Cartage and Warehouse Company, the building was sold to the MacCosham Cartridge Company in 1945 and became known as the MacCosham Building. In 1978 the building was purchased by the City of Saskatoon and became the city's central stores, as well as housing the archives.
Landa Residence
The Landa Residence (built in between 1911-1913) is a designated Municipal Heritage Property located in the Riversdale, neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thomas E. Heath, Saskatoon's Early Fire Chief lived in the home from 1913-1915. In 1921, the house became the family residence of William and Fanny Landa, the first Jewish family to settle in Saskatoon.
Adilman's Department Store
The Adilman's Department Store Building (built in 1912, expanded in 1921 and renovated in 1949) is a historic building in the Riversdale district of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Adilman's Department Store was a cornerstone of the 20th Street shopping district from its opening in 1921 until it closed in 1974. The Adilman family operated the department store from 1921 until Jack Adilman's retirement in 1974. It is one of Saskatoon's remaining examples of Streamline Moderne architecture.

Originally build as a gas service station for Texaco Oil Company of Canada. Cars and farm vehicles were often service at the station while owners shopped in the Riversdale area.
Saskatoon Farmers' Market
The Saskatoon Farmers' Market is a public Farmers' market housed in a former electrical warehouse and garage in the Riversdale, district of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The building was renovated and an outdoor market plaza created as part of the River Landing redevelopment. The market and Ideas Inc. (a business incubator) moved into its current building in May 2007. The building was originally associated with the Saskatoon Light & Power A. H.

The Rumely Building is a heritage building located at 244-226 Pacific Avenue in the Central Business District of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Formerly serving as a warehouse for the Rumely Company Company, the building has been converted into residential condominium lofts with commercial units located on the ground floor.
