Canoe Narrows, Saskatchewan
Canoe Narrows is a First Nations community located in northern Saskatchewan on Canoe Lake approximately thirty miles west of Beauval, within ancient hunting grounds of the Woodland Cree. The population in 2011 was 716 people The village is the administrative centre of the Canoe Lake Cree Nation. It is affiliated with the Meadow Lake Tribal Council. Bordering Canoe Narrows to the east is the village of Jans Bay with a population of 187.
