The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) is a Canadian public research university, founded in 1907, and located on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. An "Act to establish and incorporate a University for the Province of Saskatchewan" was passed by the provincial legislature in 1907.

Sir Frederick William Alpin Gordon Haultain (November 25, 1857 – January 30, 1942) was a lawyer and a long serving Canadian politician and judge. His career in provincial and territorial legislatures stretched into four decades. He served as the first premier of Canada's Northwest Territories from 1897 to 1905 as is recognized as having a significant contribution towards the creation of the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
University Bridge (Saskatoon)
University Bridge spans the South Saskatchewan River between Clarence Avenue and College Drive on the east shore with 25th Street on the west in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. The bridge is also known as the 25th Street Bridge and is a major commuter route between the two halves of Saskatoon. Between its opening in 1916 and the opening of the Circle Drive Bridge in 1983, it was the northernmost vehicular river crossing in the city.

Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy
The Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) was created in 2007 and operates on the campuses of both the University of Regina and University of Saskatchewan. It was named to honor Albert Wesley Johnson, who had served as President of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation among other posts, and Thomas Shoyama, a journalist who eventually served as Deputy Minister of Finance, and later as head of Atomic Energy of Canada.

Varsity View is a mostly residential neighbourhood located near the center of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is immediately south of the University of Saskatchewan campus. It is an older suburban subdivision, comprising a mixture of low-density, single detached dwellings, detached duplexes and apartment-style units. As of 2007, the area is home to 3,611 residents.

Victoria School (Saskatoon)
The original Victoria School is a designated historic building in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The stone school house built in 1888 by stonemason Alexander (Sandy) Marr as the first school house of the temperance colony. Originally located at the Five Corners crossing at Broadway Avenue and 12th Street, the school yard would eventually be home to three school buildings as the population grew, the last of which being the present-day École Victoria School.

F. P. Martin House
The F. P. Martin House (built in 1926) is a designated Municipal Heritage Property located in the Nutana, neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The house was built a local architect Frank Percy Martin, in a unique Cottage Style with double dormers Gothic doorways, and lattice windows. F.P. Martin lived in one half of the building using the third floor loft as his study, the second half of the house was used by his brother.
Albert Community Centre
The Albert Community Centre (built in 1912) is a designated Municipal Heritage Property located in the Varsity View, neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Originally built as the Albert School, the two-and-a-half storey brick building served as a public school until 1978 when the building was sold to the city and became the Albert Community Centre. The school was originally named for Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s Consort.
