Saint-Jean County, Quebec
Saint-Jean County is an historical county in Quebec and is on the west bank of the Richelieu River about 40 km southeast of Montreal. The county was organized in 1854 from the counties of Huntingdon and Chambly. Its extent included the parishes of L'Acadie, Lacolle, St. Luc, St. Valentin, and St. Jean as well as the city and county seat of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Chambly is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada, about 25 km to the south east of Montreal. It was formed from the merger in 1965 of Fort-Chambly (formerly Chambly-Canton prior to 1952) and the old city of Chambly (formerly Chambly-Bassin prior to 1952, and earlier sometimes called Bassin-de-Chambly).

Royal Military College (RMC) Saint-Jean is a Canadian military academy located on the site of Fort Saint-Jean, originally built in 1666, which is now part of the town of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, 40 km south of Montreal. It is the arm of the Canadian Military College system that ensures the smooth transition of selected Cadets from high school to university education by providing pre-university and college-level programs.
Chambly Canal
The Chambly Canal is a National Historic Site of Canada in the Province of Quebec, running along the Richelieu River past Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Carignan, and Chambly. Building commenced in 1831 and the canal opened in 1843. It served as a major commercial route during a time of heightened trade between the United States and Canada. Trade dwindled after World War I, and as of the 1970s, traffic has been replaced by recreational vessels.
Mont Saint-Grégoire
For the populated place, see Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Quebec. Mont Saint-Grégoire is a mountain in the Montérégie region of southern Quebec. The mountain is composed of essexite and syenite, strongly contrasting with the surrounding sedimentary rocks. The area around Mont Saint-Grégoire is known for its maple syrup production, plus some wine as well. The name was changed in 1923 from Mount Johnson.
Siege of Fort St. Jean
The Siege of Fort St. Jean (also called St. John, St. Johns, or St. John's) was conducted by American Brigadier General Richard Montgomery on the town and fort of Saint-Jean in the British province of Quebec during the American Revolutionary War. The siege lasted from September 17 to November 3, 1775. After several false starts in early September, the Continental Army established a siege around Fort St. Jean.

The Colisée Isabelle-Brasseur is an indoor arena in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. It has a capacity of 2,751, with 1,751 seated. It once hosted the Saint-Jean Lynx of the QMJHL and the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Summum-Chiefs of the LNAH (North American Hockey League).

The Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School (CFLRS) is located at the Général-Jean-Victor-Allard Building in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. CFLRS is a leadership training school for both primary reservist and regular forces. The two main courses offered at CFLRS are the Basic Military Qualification (BMQ) for Recruits, and the Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ) for Officer Cadets.

Fort Saint-Jean (Quebec)
Fort Saint-Jean is a fort in the Canadian province of Quebec located on the Richelieu River. The fort was first built in 1666 by soldiers of the Carignan-Salières Regiment and was part of a series of forts built along the Richelieu River. Over the years, it was destroyed and rebuilt several times, but it is, after Quebec City, the military site that has been occupied non-stop for the longest time in Canada.

It was about 30 miles (50 km) from Montreal, and about the same distance from the United States border at the head of Lake Champlain. In 2001 L'Acadie merged with neighbouring Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, along with several other neighbouring towns and villages.

Saint-Jean-d'Iberville railway station
Saint-Jean-d'Iberville railway station (French: Gare du Grand Tronc à Saint-Jean-d'Iberville) is a former railway station in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. The station was built in 1890 by the Grand Trunk Railway and is located at 31 Frontenac Street. It was recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada on June 15, 1976. Today it operates as a town tourism office.
