Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières
The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), established in 1969 is a campus of the Université du Québec, located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. The university has 12,500 students in 8 different campuses, including the main one in Trois-Rivières. About 1000 of them come from overseas, from 60 countries. The university has given more than 74,000 diplomas since its founding. The Trois-Rivières campus also holds a large library with about 400,000 documents.
Battle of Trois-Rivières
The Battle of Trois-Rivières (Three Rivers in English) was fought on June 8, 1776, during the American Revolutionary War. A British army under Quebec Governor Guy Carleton defeated an attempt by units from the Continental Army under the command of Brigadier General William Thompson to stop a British advance up the Saint Lawrence River valley.

Nicolet was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1867 to 1935. It was created by the British North America Act of 1867 which preserved existing electoral districts in Lower Canada. It consisted of the County of Nicolet. From 1903 to 1924, it included the parishes of Ste. Brigitte, Ste. Eulalie, Ste. Perpétue and St. Samuel. It was abolished in 1933 when it was redistributed into Lotbinière and Nicolet—Yamaska ridings.

Owned by the Groupe TVA subsidiary of Quebecor Media, its studios are located on Boulevard de Chanoine-Moreau and Rue Jacques de Labadie in Trois-Rivières. The Basilica of Notre-Dame-du-Cap is a basilica in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. It is an important Catholic sanctuary which receives thousands of pilgrims each year. The structure was originally built as a church in 1720. The first pilgrimage to the Sanctuary was made on May 7, 1883. It is primarily used for baseball and was the home of the Trois-Rivières Saints of the Canadian Baseball League. The ballpark has a capacity of 4,200 people and was opened in 1938. It is currently the home of Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières of the Ligue de Baseball Élite du Québec. The Can-Am league will return in 2013 with the new Aigles de Trois-Rivières.

The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada and has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières since 1967. The circuit has hosted American Le Mans Series, Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, Trans-Am Series and Formula Atlantic races in the past. The circuit is located at Terrain de l'Exposition (fairgrounds) and is unusual in that it passes through Porte Duplessis, the narrow concrete gateway of the grounds at turn 3.
