Carrefour Laval
Carrefour Laval is a super regional mall located in Laval, Quebec, Canada at the intersection of the Laurentian Highway (A-15) and Laval Freeway (A-440). At 115,478 m, it is the largest enclosed mall in the Montreal area and also Quebec's largest mall operating on one floor. Carrefour Laval is one of the four fashion centres in the Montreal area that also include Fairview Pointe-Claire, Les Promenades Saint-Bruno and Les Galeries d'Anjou.
Lachapelle Bridge
'Lachapelle Bridge', in French Pont Lachapelle, (1930 and 1975) Also known as Cartierville Bridge. This bridge spans the Rivière des Prairies between the Montreal borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville and the Laval neighbourhood of Chomedey. Actually there are two bridges, side by side and parallel: The older (1930) three lane span, on the down stream side, carries the traffic north into Laval. The newer (1975) three lane span, on the up stream side, carries the traffic south into Montreal.
Terminus Le Carrefour (AMT)
Terminus Le Carrefour, an AMT bus terminus across boulevard Le Carrefour from the Carrefour Laval at the corner of Terry Fox Avenue. It is located one block west of Autoroute 15. A Radisson Hotel is located between Terry Fox Avenue and the Autoroute, a Hilton Hotel and a Sheraton Hotel are nearby. 226 park and ride spaces are available south of the terminus.

The Cosmodome is the home to both Space Camp Canada and the Space Science Center (a museum). Space Camp Canada welcomed its first campers in July 1994 while the Space Science Center, opened its doors to the public in December 1994.

Laval was a former provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. It was located in the Laval region north of Montreal, but for some of its history it also included parts of Montreal itself. It was created for the 1867 election (and an electoral district of that name existed earlier in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada). Its final election was in 1976. It disappeared in the 1981 election and its successor electoral district was Laval-des-Rapides.
