Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles–Montréal-Est
Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles–Montréal-Est was a borough in the eastern end of Montréal, Québec. The borough was located at the eastern tip of the Island of Montréal. It was composed of parts of the City of Montreal prior to the January 1, 2002 municipal mergers, and the formerly independent municipality of Montréal-Est, Quebec. This was the only borough in the post-merger city that fused parts of the original city of Montréal with other former municipalities.

Quebec Route 125
Route 125 is a Quebec highway running from Montreal to Saint-Donat, Lanaudière, Quebec in the Lanaudière. The southern section of Route 125 runs parallel to Autoroute 25 in Laval, Mascouche, and Terrebonne. At Saint-Espirit, the Autoroute ends, and 125 continues northwards until the entrance to the Mont Tremblant Provincial Park north of Saint-Donat.

LaFontaine is a provincial electoral district in Montreal, Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of the neighbourhood of Rivière-des-Prairies in the borough of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles. It was created for the 1966 election from a part of Bourget electoral district. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged. From 1992 to 2001, the riding also included the northern half of Pointe-aux-Trembles.

Pointe-aux-Trembles railway station is located on the corner of Prince-Albert Street and 64th Avenue in the Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The station is marked by a disused station building. It served as an optional stop for two Via Rail routes running from Montreal until January 3, 2013. After that date, VIA trains no longer stopped at the Pointe-aux-Trembles station.

Rivière-des-Prairies, Quebec
Rivière-des-Prairies was a municipality that was annexed by Montreal, Canada in 1963. On January 1, 2002 it became part of the borough of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles–Montréal-Est. On January 1, 2006 Montreal East demerged, and the borough became Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles. The borough is known for its high concentration of Italians in most of the neighborhoods, and Haitians in the others.
Pointe-aux-Trembles
Pointe-aux-Trembles was a municipality, founded in 1674, that was annexed by Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in 1982. This was the last city to be merged into Montreal until the 2002 municipal reorganization. On January 1, 2002 this neighborhood at the far east end of the Island of Montreal became part of the borough of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles–Montréal-Est. On January 1, 2006 Montreal East demerged, and the borough became Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles.
Terminus De Montarville (AMT)
The Terminus De Montarville was inaugurated November 20, 2007 by the AMT & the city of Boucherville. The new bus terminus was built on the corner of Quebec route 132 and Boulevard De Montarville. It includes a 308 car and 35 bicycle capacity parking and 7 waiting area for buses on 2 bus platforms. This new terminus has been built to help the transfer between Boucherville's RTL bus lines 61, 80 and 85, and CIT Sorel-Varennes bus lines 700, 720, 721 and 722 on April 7, 2008.
Le Gardeur Bridge
The Le Gardeur Bridge is a beam bridge that connects the east end of the island of Montreal (borough of Pointe-aux-trembles, district of the pointe-aux-prairies) to Charlemagne, Quebec. The bridge has two different sections across the Rivière des Prairies which are separated by Île Bourdon. The length of the two structures is 297 meters (west) and 565 meters (east).
Charles de Gaulle Bridge

The bridge is named after President of the Republic of France Charles de Gaulle who inspired the sovereignty movement in Quebec during the 1960s with his Vive le Québec libre speech in Montreal in 1967 the same year the bridge was built.

The Lachenaie landfill is a landfill in Terrebonne, Quebec – northeast of Montreal. Along with the Ste. Sophie landfill, these two dumps collect garbage for the Greater Montreal Area. Currently, Lachenaie receives approximately 30% of the residual materials produced by the greater Montreal area. The Lachenaie Landfill began receiving municipal solid waste in 1968.
Coulée Grou
Coulée Grou is the name of an area in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, that was the location of a battle of the Beaver Wars, also known as the Iroquois Wars, given in honor of Jean Grou, a Canadian pioneer. Grou had sailed as a young boy from Rouen in France to New France circa 1650-1665 and established a land-holding at Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles, east of the modern city of Montreal. At a battle here on July 2, 1690, Jean Grou and three farm workers were captured and burned alive.
