Laval University
Laval University is the oldest centre of education in Canada, (4th oldest in North America), and was the first institution in North America to offer higher education in French. Its main campus is located on the outskirts of the historic city in Quebec City, the capital of the Province of Quebec. The university is ranked among the top ten Canadian universities in terms of research funding.

CFCM-DT is the TVA owned-and-operated television station in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Owned by the TVA Group subsidiary of Quebecor Media, it broadcasts a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 17 from a transmitter located at it studios on Myrand Street in the former suburb of Sainte-Foy. This station can also be seen on Rogers Cable channel 4 and in high definition on digital channel 604.
Etchemin River
The Etchemin River is a river in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of eastern Quebec. It gave its name to Les Etchemins Regional County Municipality. The river itself was named for the Abenaki native people of the area who the French called "les Etchemins". Contrary to beliefs, the source of the river isn't in Etchemin Lake, but rather a little east of the lake itself, in Saint-Luc-de-Bellechasse.
Sillery, Quebec City
Sillery is a former city in central Quebec, Canada. Located just west of old Quebec City, Sillery was among the many outlying municipalities amalgamated into an expanded Quebec City on January 1, 2002. Its former territory now forms part of the borough of Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge. The name Sillery is still used to refer to the affluent neighbourhood. Sillery was named for Noël Brûlart de Sillery (1577–1640), Knight of Malta.
Government House (Quebec)
Quebec's Government House, known as Spencerwood, was the Vice regal residence of Quebec. It was built in 1854. Located at the Bois-de-Coulonge park, it was purchased by the Quebec Government in 1870 and served as the residence of Quebec Lieutenant-Governors until 1966 when a major fire destroyed the main residence. Originally, the residence of the Governor of New France was at the Château St-Louis, in the capital of Quebec City.

Anse-au-Foulon
L'Anse au Foulon is a small cove about one and one-half miles above Quebec City. It is also referred to by the name Wolfe's Cove. It was at L'Anse au Foulon that the British forces commanded by James Wolfe landed prior to proceeding to the Plains of Abraham where they engaged and defeated the French force commanded by the Marquis de Montcalm, resulting in the eventual ceding of all French territory in continental North America to Britain (1759).
