Unionville is a suburban village in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is located 33 km northeast of downtown Toronto and 4 km east of southern Richmond Hill. The exact boundaries of Unionville are a matter of some debate, as it is not a municipal entity, and has had an interesting and chequered history. The Wards comprising Markham have well-defined boundaries, and it is felt by many that the term Unionville should only be used to refer to dwellings within Ward 3 of Markham.

This station is also served by Highway 407 East Express buses, which run westbound to York University, northbound to Mount Joy GO Station, and eastbound to the Oshawa Bus Terminal. The station was built in 1991 to replace the old Unionville Station on Main Street Unionville. GO Trains stopped at the old station from 1982 to 1991.

Named for former Olympic athlete and Chair of the York Region District School Board, Bill Crothers, the school opened its doors to Grade 9 and 10 students in August 2008. The school is 32 acres and cost an estimated $32 million to build.
