Tweed, Ontario (village)
Tweed, Ontario is a community on Stoco Lake and the only urban centre in the Municipality of Tweed in Hastings County, central-eastern Ontario, Canada. Tweed has a population of 1,540 according to the 2001 Canada Census. The principal thoroughfare through Tweed is Highway 37.
Stoco Lake
Stoco Lake is a lake in the Lake Ontario drainage basin in Tweed, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. The lake is about 5.4 kilometres long and 2.5 kilometres wide, and lies at an elevation of 138 metres . There are two named islands, Butternut Island and Grant Island, and one named bay, Cosy Cove at the northeast. The primary inflow is the Moira River, at the northwest. Secondary inflows are the Clare River at the east and Sulphide Creek at Cosy Cove at the northeast.

Cosy Cove is a settlement on Stoco Lake in the municipality of Tweed, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, about 4 kilometres southwest of the community of Sulphide and 2.5 kilometres east of the village of Tweed. Sulphide Creek, a tributary of the Moira River, reaches its mouth at Stoco Lake in the community.
