The Thunder Bay Historical Museum is located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is operated by the Thunder Bay Historical Museum Society, incorporated in 1972 as the successor to the Thunder Bay Historical Society. The Museum is affiliated with the Canadian Museums Association, the Canadian Heritage Information Network, and Virtual Museum of Canada.
Jackknife Bascule Bridge
The Jackknife (or Jack-knife) Bascule Bridge is a bascule bridge that spans the Kaministiquia River at Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, to link the city to Mission Island, one of two islands in the Kaministiquia River delta. The bridge was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway between August 1910 and April 1913. The contractor for the abutments and piers was Alexander Charles Stewart (1867–1944). The bridge had two decks, the lower deck for trains and the upper deck for vehicular road traffic.

The Thunder Bay Soroptimist International Friendship Garden is a city park located in the south end of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The park is located at the south end of Chapples Park, at the corners of Victoria Avenue and Hyde Park Avenue. The Friendship Garden was organised in 1967 as a Centennial gift by the Soroptimist Club of Fort William-Port Arthur.
St. Patrick High School (Thunder Bay)
St. Patrick High School is a Catholic high school located in the south end of Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is part of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, and its amenities include a chapel, custom-built music rooms, newly renovated auditorium (as of 2010), two gyms, a fully functional cafeteria, and wheelchair accessibility. The schools offers courses in French immersion. Unlike schools in the public system, students at St. Patrick are required to wear uniforms.
Chapples Park
Chapples Park is located in the centre of Fort William, Ontario, which today forms the south end of Thunder Bay. It forms a key part of Thunder Bay's recreation trail system. The park's main feature is an 18-hole, 6,236 yards, par 71 golf course operated by the city. The course includes a practice range. In the centre of the park is a recreation area featuring tennis courts, a soccer field, and baseball diamonds.
Centennial Conservatory
The Centennial Conservatory in Thunder Bay, Ontario is located in the city's south end. It was built in 1965 and opened to the public in 1967 as a Centennial Project to commemorate the Canadian Centennial. The conservatory houses various varieties of tropical plants, flowers, trees and shrubs in its main greenhouse, a cactus room, and a room with seasonal displays. The facility includes paths and benches and a wishing well and is open to the public, year round free of charge.
Royal Edward Arms
The Royal Edward Arms is a social housing apartment building built in 1928 in the historic downtown of Fort William, part of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. It rises 8 storeys above the intersection of South May and George Streets. Originally built in the late 1920s as a hotel, it was highly successful until the 1970s. It sat vacant until 1985, when it was renovated into a 64-unit low-income housing facility. Today it is owned by the Thunder Bay District Housing Corporation.

The Fort William Gardens is a 4,690-capacity (3,371-seat) multi-purpose arena, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1951. Previous tenants include the Thunder Bay Flyers, of the 'Junior A' United States Hockey League, the Thunder Bay Senators/Thunder Bay Thunder Cats, of the Colonial Hockey League (which became the United Hockey League) and the Thunder Bay Twins (senior men's hockey).
