Fanshawe College

Fanshawe College is one of the largest colleges in Ontario, Canada. The main campus is in London, Ontario, with additional campuses in Simcoe, St. Thomas, Woodstock, and Tillsonburg. There are approximately 15,000 full-time students and 40,000 part-time students. Fanshawe College has more than 112,000 alumni. Western Fair

The Western Fair is a fair held annually in London, Ontario, Canada in early September. The first Western Fair was held in September 1868 in downtown London, northeast of the current location of Victoria Park. Organizers had hoped to use the Crystal Palace Barracks as the main exhibition area. Livestock shows took place on the parade grounds outsite the The Crystal Palace.

General Motors Diesel Division

General Motors Diesel Division was a unit of General Motors founded in 1938. GMDD's Canadian operations were renamed as Diesel Division of General Motors of Canada Limited in 1975. The company was a manufacturer of diesel engines, diesel locomotives, transit buses and military vehicles. The engine making unit later became Detroit Diesel and sold to DaimlerChrysler AG in 2000 (formerly part of General Motors Diesel).

Fanshawe Lake

Fanshawe Lake, is a small man-made lake east of London, Ontario. It is fed by the Thames River from the north, and is separated from the river to the southwest by Fanshawe Dam. The Lake is a popular choice for boaters and swimmers during the summer months, and also features many low flying aircraft, as the lake is used to line up approaches for aircraft landing in the airport to the south.

Fanshawe Dam

Fanshawe Dam is a dam located on the eastern edge of London, Ontario. The crest of the dam is 625 metres long. It is 30.5 metres in height and drops the river surface 12 metres. Fanshawe Lake is the reservoir created by the dam. The hydroelectric generator of the Fanshawe Dam generates enough power to run 400 households. It is one of three dams on the Thames River.

Robarts School for the Deaf

The Robarts School for the Deaf is a provincial school in London, Ontario with both residential and day programs serving deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Along with three other provincial schools for the deaf in Ontario, it is operated by the Ministry of Education under Education Act of Ontario section 13(1). Teachers are both deaf and hearing. Deaf student population approximately 25 students in the senior school and 40 students in the elementary school, total is 65 students.
