CHCH-DT is an independent television station serving the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario, Canada and is licensed to the city of Hamilton, it is the oldest privately owned television station in the Hamilton-Toronto area, having launched in 1954. It broadcasts a high-definition digital signal on VHF channel 11 from a transmitter near Glover Mountain and First Roads in Stoney Creek.

Battle of Stoney Creek
The Battle of Stoney Creek was fought on 6 June 1813 during the War of 1812 near present day Stoney Creek, Ontario. British units made a night attack on an American encampment. Due in large part to the capture of the two senior officers of the American force, and an overestimation of British strength by the Americans, the battle was a victory for the British, and a turning point in the defence of Upper Canada.

The CHCH Television Tower is a 357.5 metre-high guyed TV mast located at 481 First Road West in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. It is the primary transmitter for television station CHCH-DT. It is also currently the third-tallest structure in Canada. When it was built in 1960, the CHCH Television Tower became the tallest structure in Canada.
Glen Brae Middle School
Glen Brae Middle School is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; it was established in 1967 and is managed by the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. This school, like many other middle schools, has grades 6-8. Glen Brae has approximately 250 students; Catherine Lemmond is principal. The school also has French and English immersion classes. Devil's Punch Bowl is a 37 metre ribbon waterfall on the Niagara Escarpment, in the Stoney Creek community of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It is found in the Devil's Punchbowl Conservation Area, maintained by the Hamilton Conservation Authority, and features an escarpment access trail with connections to a recently improved section of the Bruce Trail. Stoney Creek's Dofasco 2000 Trail is nearby.

Battlefield House near King Street East and Centennial Parkway in Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada is a living history museum and site of the historic Battle of Stoney Creek on June 6, 1813, which was fought during the War of 1812. It was built in 1796. The house and 15.5 acres of parkland (Battlefield Park), were the property of the Women's Wentworth Historical Society, (1899-1962), and given by this society to the Niagara Parks Commission on January 19, 1962.
