St. James Town
St. James Town (sometimes misspelled St. Jamestown) is a neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It lies in the northeast corner of the downtown area. The neighbourhood covers the area bounded by Sherbourne Street to the west, Bloor Street to the north, Parliament Street to the east, and Wellesley Street East to the south. St. James Town is the largest high-rise community in Canada. It has been identified as one of 13 economically deprived neighborhoods within the city.
Sherbourne (TTC)
Sherbourne is a station on the Bloor–Danforth line of the Toronto subway and RT. It was opened in 1966 and the official address is 420 Bloor Street East. The station primarily serves the St. James Town neighbourhood and the southern portion of the Rosedale neighbourhood. This is not an accessible subway station.
Castle Frank (TTC)
Castle Frank is a station on the Bloor–Danforth line of the subway system in Toronto, Canada. It is located at 600 Bloor Street East at Castle Frank Road, near the former location of Viaduct streetcar loop, which was the longtime terminus of the Parliament streetcar.

St. Luke's United Church
St. Luke's United Church is located at 353 Sherbourne Street (on the southeast corner of Carlton and Sherbourne Streets) in Toronto. Originally built across the street from the old site of Toronto General Hospital, it is now across from Allan Gardens. The building was originally home to Sherbourne Street Methodist Church, later Sherbourne United. It merged with Carlton Street United in 1959 to create St. Luke's. Sherbourne was founded in 1872, while Carlton originated in 1832.
Phoenix Concert Theatre
The Phoenix Concert Theatre, is located at 410 Sherbourne St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It replaced The Diamond - an earlier club that operated on the same premises in the 1980s. It is 18,000 sq ft of eclectic grandeur, encompassing three distinct environments. The "Main Room" features one of the city's largest dance floors, leading edge sound and light, five bars (including a 50-foot marble bar), 20x30 foot stage, a giant projection screen and one of the largest mirror balls in Canada.
Wellesley Hospital
The Wellesley Hospital was a teaching hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada affiliated with the University of Toronto. It was founded by Dr. Herbert Bruce as a private hospital, but became publicly operated in 1942. In 1984, the Ross Tilley Regional Burn Centre was opened at the hospital, following extensive fund-raising by local firefighters and others. The Wellesley Hospital was the primary care centre for HIV/AIDS patients in the Toronto area from 1988 until 2001.
St. James Cemetery (Toronto)
The Anglican St. James Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Toronto still in operation, being opened in 1844 as the burial ground for St. James Cathedral. The cemetery was opened in July 1844 for the burial of people professing the Anglican faith. At that time most of the city’s population of 18,000 lived south of Queen Street West and the cemetery's present location during that era must have been regarded as being outside city limits.
James Cooper House
James Cooper House is an historic house in Toronto, Canada that in 2008 underwent the largest residential structure relocation in Canadian history. The house is located at the corner of Sherbourne Street and Linden, just south of Bloor Street. It was built in 1881 for James Cooper, a wealthy importer, manufacturer, and retailer of shoes. It was one of many mansions in the Sherbourne and Jarvis area, that was once among Toronto's wealthiest areas.
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (Toronto)
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is a Lutheran Church–Canada congregation in Toronto, Canada. It is located at the corner of Sherbourne and Bloor Street in the northeast of the city's downtown. It was originally founded in 1931 as a Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod congregation, the second in the city after St. John's Lutheran Church. It originally catered to German immigrants in the city, and the services were all in German until the Second World War when it was decided to switch to English.
