Festival of the Sound is an annual classical music festival that occurs from July to August in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1980 by Anton Kuerti, the festival's original artistic director, the annual festival was held in the auditorium of Parry Sound High School until the opening of the town's Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts in 2003.
Wasauksing Swing Bridge
The Wasauksing Swing Bridge spans the South Channel, a narrow channel of Georgian Bay between the Rose Point on the mainland and an island commonly known as Parry Island, near Parry Sound, Ontario. The bridge was built by the Ottawa, Arnprior and Parry Sound Railway to provide rail access to Depot Harbour. The bridge is sometimes referred to by its former name, the "Rose Point Swing Bridge". A bridge was first built at this location in 1887 (some sources indicate 1888).

Parry Sound CPR Trestle
The Parry Sound CPR Trestle crosses the valley of the Seguin River, just upstream of the river's mouth at Parry Sound on Georgian Bay, as well as Great North Road, Bay, and Gibson streets in the town of Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. Completed in 1907 (1907) by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the trestle is 1,695 feet long and 105 feet high. The first scheduled train passed over the span in 1908.

Parry Sound High School (PSHS) is located in the town of Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada serves students from several of the surrounding elementary schools. The school is one of the largest in the Near North District School Board and serves as the only high school in Parry Sound. Parry Sound High School's motto is Omnia Vestigia Prorsum which translates to "All Steps Forward". Athletes and students at PSHS are known as the PSHS Panthers, and the school colours are red and grey.
