Cedarhill Estate
Cedarhill Estates (also spelled Cedar Hill) is an upscale neighborhood located in the southwestern end of Ottawa known as Barrhaven. It is bordered by Fallowfield Road to the south, Cedarview Road to the east, and by Highway 416 to the north and west. The neighborhood is connected to Orchard Estates and the names are often used interchangeably. Cedarhill Estates is in the heart of Nepean and surrounds the Cedarhill Golf Course.
Barrhaven
Barrhaven is a rapidly growing suburban neighbourhood in the southwest of the urban area of the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, about 17 km southwest of downtown Ottawa. Prior to amalgamation with Ottawa in 2001, Barrhaven was part of the City of Nepean. Its population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 84,266.
John McCrae Secondary School
John McCrae Secondary School is a public secondary school in Nepean, Ontario, Canada. It supports grades 9-12. Built in 1999, it was the public high school in Barrhaven, replacing its predecessor, Confederation High School. John McCrae is attached to the Walter Baker Sports Center. It offers an array of activities for students such as squash, swimming, weightlifting and a library. The school is built on a hill in a residential neighbourhood in old Barrhaven.
Cedarview Middle School
Cedarview Middle School is a dual-track English/French immersion middle school in Barrhaven, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. As of 2010, it has 630 students, 58% in English and 42% in French immersion. Cedarview was opened in 1994. It is the next-generation school of the board, housing almost 100 computers. The building is characterized by its bright blue roof.
Strandherd Station

This is part of OC Transpo's plans to extend its southwest transitway to its suburb areas.

The station is located on a route that runs along the south side of the CNR railway line southwest from Fallowfield Station towards Strandherd Station. Located close to the station are École élémentaire catholique Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau, Mother Teresa High School and Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School.
