Stratford, Ontario railway station
Stratford station in Stratford, Ontario, Canada is served by several Via Rail trains daily running between Sarnia and Toronto. The station, though outside the immediate downtown area, remains relatively central, and is staffed, offering ticket sales, washrooms, and wheelchair access to the station and trains.
William Allman Memorial Arena
The William Allman Memorial Arena, originally Stratford Arena, is an ice hockey arena in Stratford, Ontario. This arena is home to the Stratford Cullitons. The arena has been used by numerous film and television crews, also in Bauer's "Leave an Impression" advertising campaign.
CJCS
CJCS is a Canadian radio station in Stratford, Ontario with an oldies format at AM 1240 kHz. The station, known as "10AK" began broadcasting in 1928 as an amateur station at 250 metres. In 1933, the station changed to 1200 kHz, moved to 1210 kHz in 1936 and then moved to its present frequency at 1240 kHz on March 29, 1941. 10AK switched to its present callsign CJCS in 1935. CJCS was owned by Raedio Inc. and opened up a new FM sister station CHGK-FM on September 2, 2003.
National Stadium (baseball)
National Stadium was home to the Stratford Nationals of the Intercounty Baseball League. It is located in a southeastern location in Stratford at the intersections of Romeo and Norfolk Streets. It was one of a few ballparks in the Intercounty League with a grandstand. Other parks with a grandstand are Brantford, Guelph, London and the 10,000 seat stadium in Ottawa.
