Centre for Indigenous Theatre
Founded in 1974 by the late James H. Buller, the Native Theatre School was started with the vision that Aboriginal people could create change in Canada through theatre. Buller was a noted opera and musical comedy singer. While earlier in the Canadian Navy before founding the school, Buller competed as a popular boxer known as "Gentleman Jim". He wanted to see aboriginal actors, playwrights and directors flourish across Canada and create a network of aboriginal theatre companies.
Factory Theatre
Factory Theatre is a theatre in Toronto, Ontario, founded as Factory Theatre Lab in 1970 by Ken Gass and Frank Trotz. Factory was the first theatre to announce that it would exclusively produce Canadian plays, but it soon became a widely emulated policy by other theatre companies. Factory quickly became known as the home of the Canadian playwright, and is especially associated with George F. Walker, most of whose plays premiered there.
The Cameron House
The Cameron House is a small bar, hotel, and informal cultural centre located on Queen Street West, just west of Spadina Avenue, in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Cameron has a front lounge and a back room, both with the capacity for audiences of no more than sixty people. It has been described as a Toronto crossover of CBGB's and the Chelsea Hotel in New York.
Bathurst Street Bridge
The Bathurst Street Bridge is a steel truss bridge in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It carries four lanes for motor vehicles with Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)'s streetcar tracks along Bathurst Street over the railway tracks south of Front Street. The steel truss bridge was built in 1903 and used for a steam railway over the Humber River. It was dis-assembled and re-located in 1916 to Bathurst Street and converted for road traffic.
Bovine Sex Club
The Bovine Sex Club (original styled "Clvb") is a bar on Toronto's Queen Street West strip. In operation since January 1991, the Bovine Sex Club (often shortened to 'the Bovine' or 'the BSC') has at various times found itself at the forefront of Toronto's rock, punk, alternative, and rockabilly music scenes. A haven for independent musicians and artists since day one, the Bovine also became well known for being one of the first establishments to serve Jägermeister on tap.
Spadina Hotel
The Spadina Hotel was one of the names of the hotels operated at 460 King Street West, in Toronto, at the corner of Spadina Avenue and King Street. Since 1997 the building has been Toronto′s largest hostel. The hotel was built in the late 1873, the three storey Victorian building features a small clock on the east facade. A four storey annex was later built to the north of the hotel. It has been known by at least half dozen names, and has had many proprietors.
Secret Swing
Swingsite was an art installation that consisted of a playground swing hanging in the narrow space between two buildings in Toronto, Canada. The swing was accessed by way of the alley behind Queen Street West, which is known as one of Toronto’s best graffiti galleries. Toronto artist Corwyn Lund erected the swing in September 2003 as part of a group show called 'Psychotopes' at YYZ Artists Outlet.
Fashion District, Toronto
The Fashion District is the name given to the area of Downtown Toronto around the intersection of Spadina Avenue and King Street. The area is known for having stores that sell clothes straight from the manufacturers. The area derives its name from formerly being home to many clothing manufacturing businesses, but today relatively few have remained.

St. Andrew's Market and Playground
St. Andrew's Playground is a small park in downtown Toronto. It is located at the northwest corner of Brant St and Adelaide St W. It features both a playground for children and an off-leash area for dogs that is surrounded by a short fence, with an accessible water fountain for pets, children, and adults. A Heritage Toronto plaque in the northwest corner describing the history and significance of the park was installed in 2007.
St. Mary's Church, Toronto
St. Mary's Church is a Roman Catholic church located at 130 Bathurst Street at Portugal Square in the Niagara neighbourhood of Toronto's west end. The parish was established by Irish immigrants in 1852. The Gothic Revival church was designed by Joseph Connolly and completed in 1889, with the tower finished in 1905. It stands as the picturesque western view terminus for Adelaide Street. The rectory, convent and a school are also located along Portugal Square.
Tapestry New Opera Works
Tapestry new opera works is a Canadian opera company, located in Toronto, Ontario in the Distillery Historic District. The company was founded in 1979 by artistic director Wayne Strongman, who was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2009. The resident director is Tom Diamond, a Canadian opera director who also works for the Canadian Opera Company and was a judge/host on the Bravo! Television program Bathroom Divas.
