Brookfield High School (Ottawa)
Brookfield High School is an Ottawa-Carleton District School Board high school in the Riverside Park neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was officially opened in 1962. The school usually has about a thousand students each year. Like most of the Ottawa schools, it is composite and semestered. It specializes in a French immersion program, and is one of the few schools in Ottawa to offer instruction in Arabic.

Confederation O-Train Station is an O-Train station located near Heron Road and Bronson Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario, which primarily serves the Government of Canada offices in the Confederation Heights area, and students from Brookfield High School. Recently, a pedestrian and cyclist path was built, providing a direct link between Confederation Station and Brookfield Road. The station is named for the area, Confederation Heights.

Heron Transitway Station is a bus-stop on Ottawa's transitway served by OC Transpo buses. It is located in the south-eastern transitway section at Heron Park on Heron Road. Nearby government buildings including Canada Post and the Confederation O-Train Station are the main trip generators as well as a residential area just to its east.
Edward Drake Building
The Edward Drake Building represents one of the best examples of modernist architecture in Canada's National Capital Region. Located in Ottawa, Ontario, the building was designed by D.G. McKinstry and constructed between 1961 and 1964. It originally served as the headquarters of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, but significant CBC budget cutbacks in the 1990s led to the relocation of the head office staff (now housed in the CBC Ottawa Broadcast Centre) in 1997.

Having been in business for over 60 years, and with a membership that exceeds 25,000, the RA Centre is one of the largest such facilities in Canada. The Centre is governed by a volunteer board, and run by a combination of paid staff and volunteers. Over fifty programs are offered, including swimming and tennis, the latter of which runs year round under inflatable domes.
Terry Fox Stadium
Terry Fox Stadium, also known as the Terry Fox Athletic Facility is an athletic field in Ottawa, Canada, named after cancer research activist Terry Fox. It has a regulation-size natural grass soccer field, surrounded by a 400 metre track. Surrounding the track are bleachers with a capacity of approximately 2,000. It is located in Mooney's Bay Park, on the west side of Riverside Drive, south of Heron Road, which is south of downtown Ottawa.

Sir Leonard Tilley Building and Annex is a Canadian federal office building property consisting of two buildings and operated by the Public Works and Government Services Canada and located at 719 Heron Road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was designed by Bemi & Associates Architects in 1987. The floor space covers 23,832 square metres and the land area covers 4.527 hectares. The building includes the Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSEC).

Vincent Massey Park is an urban park along the Rideau River in the Confederation Heights neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, accessible via Heron Road. It is extensively used in the summer for family and group picnics. The park has quiet wooded walking paths, rolling meadows, scenic vistas, open grassy areas for playing sports, and picnic tables. Available amenities include washrooms, pathways, water fountains, bandstand, two softball diamonds, electrical hook-ups, and barbecue pits.

George Dunbar Bridge
The George Dunbar Bridge is a vehicular and pedestrian bridge in Ottawa, Ontario carrying Bronson Avenue over the Rideau River and connecting it to the Airport Parkway. The original Dunbar Bridge was completed in 1955. It was demolished in December 1994. The current bridge was constructed in 1993–1996. The Northbound (East) span was built in May 1993–December 1994 adjacent to the 1955 bridge. The Southbound (West) span was built in 1995–96 on the site of the demolished 1955 bridge.
