Ancaster, Ontario
Ancaster is a picturesque and historic community located on the Niagara escarpment, within the greater area of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This former town was founded officially in 1793 and was one of the oldest European communities established in present day Ontario along with Windsor (1749), Kingston (1780), St. Catharines (1787–89), Grimsby (1790), Niagara-on-the-Lake (1792) and Toronto (1793).
Wentworth County, Ontario
Wentworth County, area 269,057 acres, is a historic county in the Canadian province of Ontario. It was created in 1816 as part of the Gore District in what was then Upper Canada and later Canada West. It was named in honour of Sir John Wentworth Last Governor of colonial New Hampshire, Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia (1792 to 1808) and intimate friend of William Jarvis, the first Provincial Secretary of Upper Canada.

There's a fence beside it that gives off the impression that it lies on private property but is actually on the roadway allowance of Mineral Springs Road at Martins Road. Nearby attractions include Dundas Valley Conservation Area, 40 kilometres of trails, Hermitage Ruins, Hermitage Cascade, Heritage Falls, Bruce Trail and Griffin House.

Griffin House (Ancaster)
Griffin House is a historic house associated with the Underground Railroad, located in the Ancaster community of Hamilton, Ontario . It offers tours and black-history-related programs as part of the Black Heritage Network. Griffin House was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 2008. The house is a rare surviving example of a four-room house typical in Upper Canada in the early 19th century.
