University of Ottawa Heart Institute

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) is Canada’s largest and foremost cardiovascular health centre. It began as a department in The Ottawa Hospital, and since has evolved into Canada’s only complete cardiac centre, encompassing prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, research, and education. Carlington is a residential neighbourhood in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It had a population of 12,585 in 2001, which dropped to 10,107 in 2006. The neighbourhood is bordered by: Clyde Avenue to the west. Carling Avenue and the Queensway to the north. Fisher Avenue to the east. Central Experimental Farm to the south. Carlington contains less than 435 older pre-1945 homes, primarily along Fisher Avenue. Some 2000 dwellings were built from 1945 to 1960.

Central Park is the name of a neighbourhood in west Ottawa, Canada. It is bounded on the east by Merivale Road, on the south by Baseline Road, on the west by Clyde Avenue and on the north by the Carlington neighbourhood. The population of the neighbourhood is 3,403 in an area of 0.91 km. It more than doubled its population between the 2001 and 2006 censuses as the neighbourhood expanded.
