Bruce Peninsula
The Bruce Peninsula is a peninsula in Ontario, Canada, that lies between Georgian Bay and the main basin of Lake Huron. The peninsula extends roughly northwestwards from the rest of Southern Ontario, pointing towards Manitoulin Island, with which it forms the widest strait joining Georgian Bay to the rest of Lake Huron. The Bruce Peninsula contains part of the geological formation known as the Niagara Escarpment.

Lion's Head is a community in the municipality of North Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada. Located at the midway point of the Bruce Peninsula, about halfway between Owen Sound and Tobermory, Lion's Head is just east of Ferndale on Bruce Road 9. Lion's Head is located on or somewhere near the 45th parallel north, halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. The town is named after the resemblance of a lion's profile in the rock formation of the Niagara Escarpment.

Ferndale is a hamlet in Bruce County, Ontario, Canada. Ferndale is west of Lion's Head, halfway between Owen Sound and Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula, located at Highway 6 and Bruce Rd. 9. The Ferndale Road that connects Ferndale and Lion's Head (Bruce Rd. 9) is also halfway between The Equator and the North Pole. The road is sometimes referred to as the 45th Parallel Road.
Bruce Peninsula District School
Bruce Peninsula District School is a school in the community of Lion's Head in the municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada. It is in the Bluewater District School Board and is one of the few remaining in the province to have kindergarten to Grade 12 in the same school. Eastnor Central School used to take kindergarten to Grade 3 until it folded in 2001. The school is known for its Outers program, and its Eviromental studies.
