York Centre
York Centre is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1904 to 1917 and since 1953. York Centre contains two municipal wards of the city of Toronto. It had a population in 2001 of 113,420 people. It was previously one of the safest Liberal Party seats in Canada; however, this is rapidly changed as the Conservative Party has gained ground the last few elections, and its candidate Mark Alder won the seat in 2011.
Armour Heights Field
Armour Heights Field was home to a Royal Flying Corps airfield in Toronto, Canada during World War I, and was one of three in the area. Many RFC pilots trained in Canada due to space availability. The airfield was opened in July 1917, but closed in 1919 as the war had ended. It was later developed as a residential development and remains as such today.

Baycrest
Baycrest is a research and education hospital on Bathurst Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1918 as the Toronto Jewish Old Folks Home in a semi-detached house on Cecil Street in downtown Toronto. In 1968, the new Jewish Home for the Aged opened at Baycrest's present location in North York and Baycrest Hospital was also built as a geriatric facility. The entire complex became known collectively as Baycrest.
Adath Israel Congregation (Toronto)
Adath Israel Congregation is a Conservative synagogue located at 37 Southbourne Avenue in Toronto, Canada. It was founded around 1903 by Jewish immigrants from Romania as the First Roumanian Hebrew Congregation Adath Israel (the name was shortened in the 1950s). As of 2006 there are three rabbis at the Adath Israel Congregation, Rabbi Steven Saltzman, Rabbi David Seed, and rabbi emeritus Rabbi Erwin Schild.
Sheppard Avenue Bridge
Sheppard Avenue Bridge is an under deck Truss bridge that spans the Don River on Sheppard Avenue West, just east of Bathurst Street. Built in 1954, the bridge has a scenic view of the West Don River and Earl Bales Park. The current bridge replaced an old concrete bridge that was damaged during Hurricane Hazel and required cars to descend down the valley. The upper deck carries four lanes of traffic. There is a water main in the steel sub-structure.

The Albert and Temmy Latner Jewish Public Library in Toronto was founded in 1941 as the Jewish Public Library by bookseller Ben Zion Hyman. Today, the library is a state-of-the-art addition to the Latner Centre of Jewish Knowledge and Heritage.
Bathurst Jewish Community Centre
The Bathurst Jewish Community Centre (BJCC) was the Jewish Community Centre for the Toronto area. It was located along Bathurst Street in the Bathurst Manor neighbourhood of Toronto and had over 100 programs and services, serving daycare to stroke recovery, seniors, Maccabi athletes, and campers. The BJCC was run by a non-profit charitable organization funded through UJA Federation, United Way, the government, fees and private support.
Armour Heights

It is bounded by Wilson Avenue to the south, Bathurst Street to the west, and the west branch of the Don River to the north and east. Highway 401 cuts through the centre of the neighbourhood. The area is named after John Armour, a farmer who was granted a concession to the area sometime before 1837.
Ledbury Park
Ledbury Park is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Canada. It is located in the southern part of the North York area, just across the border from Midtown Toronto. Its boundaries are Avenue Road to the east, Lawrence Avenue to the south, Bathurst Street to the West, and Wilson Avenue and Highway 401 to the north.
