Halifax Explosion
The Halifax Explosion occurred on the morning of Thursday, December 6, 1917. SS Mont-Blanc, a French cargo ship fully laden with wartime explosives, collided with the Norwegian vessel SS Imo in the Narrows, a strait connecting the upper Halifax Harbour to Bedford Basin. Approximately twenty minutes later, a fire on board the French ship ignited her volatile cargo, causing a cataclysmic explosion that devastated the Richmond District of Halifax.

The Hydrostone
The Hydrostone is a neighbourhood in the North End of the Halifax Peninsula in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada. It consists of ten short parallel streets and is bordered by Duffus Street to the north, Young Street to the south, Isleville Street to the west and Novalea Drive to the east. The neighbourhood was designed by architect Thomas Adams to provide housing for working-class families displaced by the Halifax Explosion in 1917.

CJCH-FM
CJCH-FM is a Canadian radio station owned by Bell Media. It broadcasts on the FM band at 101.3 MHz from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Coincident with its move to FM on May 30, 2008, the station adopted the moniker "101.3 The BOUNCE" and a rhythmic contemporary/top 40 format. The "BOUNCE" logo and fonts were patterned after CHBN-FM in Edmonton, Alberta, which, until 2010, was under the same ownership as CJCH. Prior to May 30, 2008, it operated at 920 kHz (AM) as "AM 92/CJCH" with an oldies music format.

St. Stephen's Elementary is a public Canadian elementary school located in North End Halifax, Nova Scotia. St. Stephen's School opened in 1948 as a Roman Catholic school, but since has become a public school in the Halifax Regional School Board. The original section of St. Stephen's opened in 1948, and the addition opened two years later in 1950. The current principal is Tyler Rutledge. The current vice-principal is Tracy Foster.
Tufts Cove, Nova Scotia
Tufts Cove is a Canadian urban neighbourhood in the Dartmouth area of Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality. It is situated on the eastern shore of Halifax Harbour in the North End of Dartmouth. The neighbourhood boundaries of Tufts Cove are approximately from Albro Lake Road in the south to Highway 111 in the north, and from Victoria Road in the east with the harbour to the west. The area was named after the prominent Tufts family of Boston. Gershom Tufts came to Dartmouth in 1749.
