Province House (Nova Scotia)
Province House is where the Nova Scotia Legislature, known officially as the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, has met every year since 1819, making it the longest serving legislative building in Canada. The building is Canada's oldest house of government. Standing three storeys tall, the structure is considered one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in North America.
Neptune Theatre (Halifax)
The Neptune Theatre is the largest professional theatre company in Atlantic Canada with a capacity of 497 and is located in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. It performs a mixture of new and classical plays. The Neptune was originally opened on the site of a former cinema in 1963 during Canada's drive to create regional theatres. Its first Artistic Director was Leon Major, later to become the Artistic Director of Boston Lyric Opera and Cleveland Opera.
Maritime Centre (Halifax)
The Maritime Centre in Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada is an office building home to the regional telecommunications company Bell Aliant (formerly Maritime Telephone & Telegraph, from which it is named). The building is on the site of the former Capitol Theatre which was demolished in 1974 to make way for the construction of the present tower. Completed in 1977, the original structure had 14 stories; another seven floors were added in 1988.
St. Mary's Basilica, Halifax
St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica is a Catholic cathedral located in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The facade and spire are entirely of local granite, and its architectural design is said to have been inspired by Saint Martin in the Fields in London. Construction began in 1820 and it was finally consecrated on October 19, 1899. It was made a basilica in 1950 by Pope Pius XII. The basilica also boasts the tallest granite spire in North America.

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia is the provincial art gallery for the province of Nova Scotia. It is located in the central downtown region of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with a branch gallery in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The gallery was founded in 1908 as the Nova Scotia Museum of Fine Arts. It was renamed in 1975 as the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. In 1988 the gallery moved to the historic Dominion Building, built in 1865, designed by architects David Stirling and William Hay.
St. Paul's Church (Halifax)
St. Paul's Church is an evangelical Anglican church in downtown Halifax Nova Scotia within the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island of the Anglican Church of Canada. It is located at the south end of the Grand Parade, an open square in downtown Halifax with Halifax City Hall at the northern end. The church takes its name from Paul of Tarsus, the apostle famous for his conversion while travelling to Damascus.
Unnamed Hariri Pontarini Architects project
The Hariri Pontarini Architects project is a proposed "twin tower" project in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Construction has not yet started as they have just been approved by city council. They are two 27-storey towers that will cost approximately $150 million. The buildings, containing a hotel and condo residences, are situated on a slender block, formerly home to the TexPark complex. They were designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects of Toronto.

Halifax Farmers' Market
The Halifax Farmers' Market is the oldest continuously operating farmer's market in North America having been founded in 1750. Over the years the market has been held in many locations around Halifax, Nova Scotia including Keith's Brewery Building on 1496 Lower Water Street. In 2010 the majority of the cooperative members of the market moved to a new LEED certified building which is part of the Halifax Seaport and took on the name 'Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market'.

Discovery Centre is an interactive science museum located in the Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is owned and operated as a not-for-profit charitable organization whose mission is to stimulate interest, enjoyment and understanding of science and technology. In October 2010, the Discovery Centre announced that it will move to the new offices of Nova Scotia Power in 2013.
Pizza Corner (Halifax)
Pizza Corner is an intersection in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the junction of Blowers St. and Grafton St. It is a local landmark originally consisting of three pizzerias: King of Donair, Sicilian Pizza and The European Food Shop. Completing the four corners is the Presbyterian Church of Saint David. All three pizzerias are known for their Halifax-style donairs, and the corner is a popular destination for hungry patrons of the local bars and pubs.
