The K.C. Irving Centre (French: Centre Régional K.C. Irving), an indoor arena located in Bathurst, New Brunswick. The arena is home to the Acadie–Bathurst Titan, a hockey team of the QMJHL. It was named in honour of businessman K.C. Irving. Opened in September 1996 and built at a cost of 21 million $, the KC Irving Centre is the largest arena in the north-eastern New Brunswick. Visitors to the Centre can benefit from seats for a total capacity of at the hockey games.

Boys in Red accident
The Boys in Red accident was a January 12, 2008 collision just outside the city of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, between a semi-trailer truck and a van carrying the basketball team from Bathurst High School. The accident killed seven students and a teacher and injured four other occupants in the van. It was the deadliest transportation accident in New Brunswick since 1989, when a logging truck tipped onto a hayride in Cormier Village, killing 13.
